Many Brits look forward to booking their summer holidays – but aren’t sure how far in advance they should start looking.

Some prefer to book just months ahead while others have mapped out their trips for years in advance.

But, it seems there is actually a magic date when you’re able to snap up flights at their cheapest point.

Holidaymakers who love a bargain can choose to reserve their seats the perfect number of days before they fly to get the best deal, reports DailyMail.

CheapAir shared their annual study analysing the price of flights and discovered that the cost changes every 4.5 days.

So if you’ve found a fab deal it’s best to book sooner rather than leaving it a week!

Each change to the cost varies by about $33 (£26.48) either up or down, according to the data.
