What a cruise ship could look like in 2100 – including the end of the holiday buffet
A shipyard has revealed what it believes cruise ships could look like in 2100 – and it looks like the beloved holiday buffet could be scrapped entirely.
German Meyer Group created the concept vessel Reverse to be an aerodynamic sea craft that may exist for travel in around 77 years.
The gorgeous ship has a glass facade and outdoor gardening areas as well as multiple drone landing pads.

The Meyer Group claims that the special cabin structure which is detached from the hull means that more efficient manufacturing methods could be used to build the ship.
However, there will only be a few small restaurant areas rather than buffets and glam signature dining options.
