Rob Dyrdek Revealed They Tape 336 Episodes Of “Ridiculousness” A Year, And He Is Actually Working Less Time Doing It
Back in March, I did a post about the president and CEO of Paramount Media Networks, Chris McCarthy, saying in an interview that the reason why Ridiculousness is on MTV so much is because it is essentially comfort TV for older people (i.e. old millennials).
MTV’s Ridiculousness / Via youtube.com“Over the years all aspects of the show has been relentlessly automated and optimized,” he added, after thanking the team that works on the show. Rob then went on to say, “Crazy to think prep time and shoot time totals for episodes are under 40 minutes. It used to be a few hours of prep time and few hours to shoot. Without this dedication to optimization on all aspects of this show, shooting 336 a year would not be possible. 8 episodes a day in 5 hours including breaks, changes and lunch is crazy.”
