Bradley Walsh steps in as celebrity plots to steal items from Blankety Blank set

Bradley Walsh unbothered on Saturday night (April 15) when a celebrity made a confession about wanting to steal some chairs from the Blankety Blank set.

Heading up the star-studded episode of the classic gameshow as it made a comeback this weekend, Bradley didn't seem to care when Johnny Vegas admitted he wanted to take something home from the studio.

Johnny was joined by five other famous faces on the show, with him sat among the likes of Adjoa Andoh, Martine McCutcheon, Jimmy Carr, Chizzy Akudolu and Joe Swash.

As Bradley welcomed the stars to the show, Johnny's first words were: "I'm going to steal some chairs."

    Jimmy Carr then spoke about how Bradley was setting the tone of the show before Chizzy exclaimed that she wanted to take Jimmy home, before later admitting that she fancied him.

    Blankety Blank is a classic British comedy game show which started in 1979 and is still running today with The Chase's Bradley Walsh at the helm.

    The show was hosted first by Terry Wogan from 1979 until 1983, and then by Les Dawson from 1984 until 1990.

    A revival saw the late Paul O'Grady (under his drag alter-ego Lily Savage) air on the BBC from December 1997 until December 1999, and then again from January 2001 to August 2002 as Lily Savage's Blankety Blank.

    And prior to Bradley Walsh hosting the show for a few episodes. David Walliams hosted a one-off Christmas Special for ITV in December 2016.

    Blankety Blank will air again on BBC One next Saturday.
