“RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8” Just RuVealed The Cast, And I Cant Wait To See How This Turns Out

Hello, hello, hello. Now, I know it hasn’t even been a week since Sasha Colby slayed us all and was crowned the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15.

World of Wonder / Paramount NetworksWhere she placed on her season: Already a viral sensation before she was even on the show, Kandy was a fierce lip-syncher and competitor and made it all the way to the the top two — where she lip-synched against Symone for the crown to Britney Spears’s “Till the World Ends.”

LaLa Ri (Season 13)

World of Wonder / Paramount Networks

Where she placed on her season: Tenth place. Kandy’s S13 sister, LaLa, was voted that season’s Miss Congeniality but is probably most infamously remembered for wearing one of the ugliest garments on the Main Stage in the show’s herstory, during the Bag Ball Eleganza challenge — which, surprisingly, didn’t get her eliminated that week, thanks to her lip-synching abilities. She’d be eliminated a couple of episodes later, when she lip-synched against Elliott with 2 Ts to “Whole Lotta Woman” by Kelly Clarkson.

Alexis Michelle (Season 9)

World of Wonder / Paramount Networks

Where she placed on her season: While you probably remember Alexis most for painting her skin green during the Michelle Visage roast, you should actually remember her more for giving us one of the best Snatch Game performances ever, where she did Liza Minnelli. Alexis made it to the top five and was eliminated by Peppermint in a lip sync to the Village People’s “Macho Man.”

Darienne Lake (Season 6)

World of Wonder / Paramount Networks

Where she placed on her season: Hailing from what many people would argue is the greatest Drag Race season ever, Season 6, Darienne is a seasoned queen and one hell of competitor, who made it all the way to the top four. But unfortunately, she did not make the grand finale, as that season only had a top three — and she was eliminated in a four-way lip sync against Bianca Del Rio, Adore Delano, and Courtney Act to RuPaul’s “Sissy That Walk.”

Jessica Wild (Season 2)

World of Wonder / Paramount Networks

Where she placed on her season: Sixth place. Jessica was actually fan-voted in to be a contestant on Season 2 and was eliminated in a lip sync against Tatianna to “He’s the Greatest Dancer” by Sister Sledge. Since then, Jessica has returned as lip sync assassin during All Stars 6, where she won the lip sync against Jan to “Womanizer” by Britney Spears.

Monica Beverly Hillz (Season 5)

World of Wonder / Paramount Networks

Where she placed on her season: Monica placed 12th, being eliminated in the third episode by Coco Montrese in a lip sync to the Pussycat Dolls’ “When I Grow Up.” However, while she may have left the show early, Monica left a huge mark on the show for being the first queen to share that she was trans on the Main Stage.

Mrs. Kasha Davis (Season 7)

World of Wonder / Paramount Networks

Where she placed on her season: Kasha is the last queen who was part of Season 7’s Bitter Old Lady Brigade to finally compete on All Stars. She placed 11th and was eliminated by Kandy Ho during a lip sync performance of “Lovergirl” by Teena Marie. Kasha is also drag sisters with Darienne Lake, so it will be interesting to see if the two form an alliance early on.

Jaymes Mansfield (Season 9)

World of Wonder / Paramount Networks

Where she placed on her season: Fourteenth place. The bubbly and campy Jaymes was eliminated in the second episode of the season after lip-synching against Kimora Blac to “Love Shack” by the B-52’s. While Jaymes may have had a short run on the show, she has managed to garner new fans through her wig tutorials on YouTube and her performance as the villainous Delia Von Whitewoman in The Bitch Who Stole Christmas. She even returned to Drag Race as a guest queen during the “Save a Queen” challenge in Season 14.

Kahanna Montrese (Season 11)

World of Wonder / Paramount Networks

Where she placed on her season: As the daughter of Coco Montrese, Kahanna had a lot to live up to. Unfortunately, she didn’t get too far into the competition, placing 14th and going on home in the second episode after losing her lip sync against Mercedes Iman Diamond to Britney Spears’s “Work Bitch.” However, Kahanna has since continued to build a name for herself among Drag Race fans as a cast member in the RuPaul’s Drag Race Live show in Vegas.

Naysha Lopez (Season 8)

World of Wonder / Paramount Networks

Where she placed on her season: The former Miss Continental winner was the first queen eliminated in her season (losing her lip sync to Lady Gaga’s “Applause” against Laila McQueen) but was then brought back on the third episode (with Ru dramatically picking up on the phone at the judges’ table and mysteriously calling back someone to the competition), where she was eliminated two episodes later when she lost her lip sync to “Call Me” by Blondie against Chi Chi DeVayne — ultimately placing ninth.

Since Season 9, Naysha has continued to be an important mainstay among Drag Race fans as one of the hosts of Chicago’s legendary Roscoe’s Tavern Viewing Parties, which has become the real Untucked

Jimbo (Canada’s Drag Race Season 1 and RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs the World Season 1)

World of Wonder / BBC 3

Where she placed on her season: Smart, funny, an expert at executing looks that carry an entire storyline, Jimbo is one of the most original queens ever to compete in any franchise (and I mean that, because she is originally from Canada’s Drag Race) and a fan favorite. In her original CDR season, Jimbo placed fourth after being eliminated by Rita Baga in a lip sync to Tegan and Sara’s “Closer.”

In UK vs. the World, Jimbo was shockingly eliminated by Pangina Heals (who won that week’s Lip Sync for the World) in the third episode — placing her seventh — despite being in the top two in both of the first two episodes.

And Lastly: Heidi N Closet

World of Wonder / Paramount Networks

Where she placed on her season: Our favorite blessed and highly favored queen from Season 12 (who was also that season’s Miss Congeniality) is finally making her big return to the Werk Room — though she did make her return to the Main Stage in Season 13, during the former Miss Congeniality winners roast and All Stars 6, where she was a lip sync assassin. Heidi won everyone over during her run on her season, coming in sixth after being eliminated by Jaida Essence Hall during a lip sync of “1999” by Prince.

All Stars 8 premieres with a double episode on May 12 on Paramount+. But now, between us squirrel friends, what I really want to know is, which queen do you think is going to snatch the crown?!
