Martin Lawrence Provides Update on Jamie Foxx While Accepting Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Martin Lawrence opened up about his friend Jamie Foxx while accepting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (April 20) in Hollywood, Calif.
The 58-year-old Bad Boys star was joined at the event by the likes of Steve Harvey, Tracy Morgan, Tichina Arnold and Lynn Whitfield.
His daughters Amara, Iyanna and Jasmine were also present. You can see photos of everyone in the gallery!
During an interview with Extra at the ceremony, he shared some good news about Jamie after we learned he suffered a “medical complication” last week.

“Well, I hear he’s doing better,” Martin told the outlet. “My prayers go out for him every night and just wishing the best for him, one of the best that we got in Hollywood. Not only one of the best entertainers, but a good person.”
He also reflected on receiving his star, saying, “I feel so blessed and I thank God for this honor and just recognition and my fans and it’s something that I always wanted.”
Martin was spotted on the set for Bad Boys 4 with another very famous co-star last week.
