Fans Are Astonished By Hilary Swank’s Nude Maternity Portrait
Hilary Swank has not gotten over carrying a new life in her womb!
The beloved actress could not stop herself from sharing one of her top moments from her pregnancy with her eager fans on Tuesday, reminding them of her excitement to finally become a mom. She recently welcomed twins — a daughter and a son — with her husband Phillip Schneider, to whom she has been married since August 2018.
Hilary Swank Has Not Forgotten The Thrills Of Her Pregnancy Days
Even though it has been over a week since she welcomed her twins, Swank has remained in high spirits. In fact, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” star placed a special emphasis on one of her high points during the nine-month journey that led to her becoming a mom.
The 48-year-old beauty, who announced the arrival of her kids on Easter day, uploaded a nude black-and-white picture that she dubbed “one of my favorite moments in time.” In the snap, the brunette is seen with her eyes down as she carefully cradles her baby bump with one hand and uses the other to protect her bare breasts.
In the caption, she credited celebrity Brian Bowen Smith for capturing the moment that was up there with “having my babies earth-side” and “meeting and marrying my husband.” The mother-of-two added that she was 27 weeks gone at the time the portrait was snapped and praised Smith for his “extraordinary talent and steadfast friendship” which she considered “supreme.”
As expected, the snap caught the attention of thousands of her fans and they promptly expressed their love for Swank in the comment section. “Wowsers ❤️❤️❤️ there’s nothing more beautiful than a woman creating life!,” one fan wrote as another commented, “such an incredible photo ? sending you and your family all the congratulations, love & support on this incredible journey.”
A third person called the photo, “breathtaking,” and a fourth claimed, “A picture, as heavenly [and] beautiful as this, is worth more than mere words. It is a world unto itself!” Swank’s photographer also stepped into the comments, gushing, “Such a beautiful existence. It truly is the honor of a lifetime to share this with you. I love you.”
The “Boys Don’t Cry” actress announced the birth of her bundles of joy in an Instagram post that featured a pic of her in a bathrobe. She placed her babies on each shoulder and backed the camera to take in the view of the sun doing its thing. Under the post, the doting new mom typed:
“It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. ????? Happy Easter! ??. Posting from pure Heaven.”
Per The Blast, the Academy Award winner first broke the news that she and Schneider were expecting their first kids together in October last year. She not only expressed how excited she was to begin her motherhood journey, but she also referred to the pregnancy as her “double feature” on Instagram.

Even though the thought of becoming a mom was enough for the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum, the occasion was made extra special by one tidbit. She shared the information with Drew Barrymore on the latter’s show, which began with the host stating:
“You just announced that your father has passed away one year ago, and this miracle is happening.”
Swank took the opening as an opportunity to share that her babies were expected to arrive on her late father, Stephen’s birthday on April 16, certifying that it was indeed a miracle. The news of that intimate detail was no doubt shocking to fans, especially since she paid tribute to the deceased veteran four days before she publicly announced her pregnancy.
In the memorial dedication shared via Instagram, the Screen Actors Guild Awards recipient marked the first anniversary of the Air Force veteran’s passing with a compilation clip that showcased different moments from his life. The Blast observed that she captioned the heart-wrenching update:
“I can’t believe it’s been a year since you’ve transitioned. You are missed beyond measure and forever in my heart.”
ICYMI, the Independent Spirit Award winner’s dad passed away at the UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center in Westwood, California on October 1, 2021. His family pointed out, through his obituary, that he was surrounded by love from his well-known daughter and her brother, Dan Swank.
The former Nebraska Air National Guard (NANG) member was aged 73.
