There seems to be new dating trends popping up every week and now, according to relationship expert Emma Hathorn, the hottest new trend if 'delicate dumping'.

The term applies the 'quiet quitting' phenomenon to the online dating world.

According to Emma, who works for dating website Seeking, delicate dating is when someone stops investing the energy and emotion into the future of the relationship that they once did, in the hopes their other half might break things off.

The expert told us: "It’s the cowardly approach to ending a relationship, slowly retreating to avoid difficult conversations, or even ghosting.

    "It’s the 2023s evolution of the thirst trap."

    The tips come after one Tinder user shared her horror date experience this week.

    Katelyn Boss, 22, from Utah in the US, said her date Trevor sent nude photos to another woman right in front of her while they were on their date.

    We don't know if there's a term for this, but we hope it definitely doesn't turn into a trend!
