The cast for Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch movie is continuing to grow and change.

According to a new report, the forthcoming movie is expected to bring back three stars from the original movie. One of them is said to be in talks to reprise their original role; the others will be appearing in new parts created just for them.

Disney has also reportedly parted ways with Kahiau Machado, who was recently added on to play Nani’s love interest David. His replacement has already been found.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris Sanders is very close to agreeing to return to voice Stitch again in the new movie. He brought the character to life in a multitude of projects after the original movie premiered.

Meanwhile, Nani’s original voice actor Tia Carrere is also reportedly coming back to play a new character called Mrs. Kekoa. Amy Hill, who had a small role in the original movie, is also set to return as a character named Tutu.

The outlet reported that Kaipot Dudoit will be taking the place of Kahiau after a background check uncovered questionable social media posts in the latter’s background.
