‘LPBW’ Tori Roloff Wants Son Jackson To ‘Notice He Is Different’ In A Special Way

Tori Roloff’s three children including her husband Zach Roloff all live with achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism.

Even at that, the TLC couple has taken it upon themselves to treat each of their kids like every other child as they want them to do whatever they want in life without being held back by their size. For their oldest, Jackson Kyle, it included putting him on sports teams with children who have regular average height. However, in real time, Tori made a bit of a sad realization.

Tori Roloff Realizes Son’s Peers Are Starting To Notice His Difference

The “Little People, Big World” star hopped on Instagram to recall how Jackson talked to her about his difference in size. She posted pictures from her little one’s soccer game. Alongside the pics was a clip showing Jackson scoring a goal and being celebrated by his teammates.

The TV personality captioned the upload with a lengthy caption talking about her five-year-old son’s new reality with children his age. She began by writing that Jackson’s age-group pals are starting to speak their minds and ask him some personal questions about his dwarfism out of pure curiosity and without any malice.

Still, she clarified that it bothered Jackson enough to talk to her about it, promoting her to handle the situation the best way she can by telling him “That’s how God made you, now show them how fast you are!”

The 32-year-old continued to share with followers that since her tot is starting to notice his difference, she wants him to see himself as a different kind of special.  “I WANT him to know he’s different. But maybe not in the way he thinks he is.”

For Tori, it is vital that Jackson embrace his ‘difference’ and make the most of it as opposed to turning it into a crutch of some sort. The proud mother affirmed this statement by writing:

“I pray you see your differences and use them to change the world. You are different, kid. Different than any kid I’ve ever met. You are one of a kind and I am so stinking proud to be your mom.”

LPBW fans praised Tori for continuing to do a great job raising him and agreed that the little one was perfect. One user stated, “A special kid indeed go ❤️Jackson go.” Another fan wrote, “How lucky is he to have parents like you? ❤️.”

The reality star who usually shares family milestones and bonding events with her fans gave them a peep at the brotherly bond between her two sons, Jackson and his younger brother, Josiah Luke. Last August, Tori uploaded a cute video of the two enjoying each other’s company.

The clip, which was recorded in a playroom filled with train tracks and toys, showed Josiah lying on the floor while his older brother conversed with him from the background. As he set up a toy car, Jackson asked his baby brother to wait for him.  Across the footage, Tori wrote, “My heart! [white love emoji]. These two brothers are the best.”

The Photographer Revealed Family Might Be Closing A Chapter On Hit Show Soon

The Roloff family, since 2006 has faced and overcome several challenges on their hit reality show “Little People, Big World” but it seems they are closing the curtains on that part of life very soon.

Last December, while chatting with “LPBW” fans on social media, the Oregon native insinuated her family’s future plans did not include the series. Per The Blast, during a Q&A, a fan asked, “How long do you plan to be on television? Thanks for sharing your lives with us.”

The reality star’s shocking response read, “I think our time is definitely coming to a close, but we’re trying to enjoy it while it’s here.” Also, the reports stated that the photographer was asked if she and her husband would ever “step away from filming” the show in November and she replied,  “Yes.”
