Some celebrity couples make perfect sense. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds? Yep. Sure. Wouldn’t dream of arguing with that. But some others? Bizarre as hell.

Lets go through some of the strangest celebrity pairings of all time…
1. Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent
Bruce Glikas / FilmMagicLong before Glee and Veronica Mars, these two budding actors went to college together. She told Us Magazine in 2010: “We actually dated very briefly, so I’ll have to say maybe Matt Morrison is my favorite part of Glee for various reasons.”

Back in 2007, she was 21, he was 36. They reportedly dated for six months, and were seen making out in an NYC bar. Apparently, as we later found out in a tell-all book written about Lance, he was warned by friends to stay away from her, as she’d be a bad influence that could damage his charity work.
4. Kat Dennings and Josh Groban

He told Ellen Degeneres that it was really their geek status that brought them together: “Humor is such a huge thing for me, so, you know, the fact that we could talk about Monty Python… I was like, ‘Okay, yeah, we’re on the same page.'” They dated for two years and split in 2016.
5. Tom Cruise and Cher

Cher later told Oprah that she was “crazy for him,” and it could have been a “great big romance,” but their schedules inevitably got in the way.

The kooky actress and Coldplay frontman isn’t a pairing that we could have seen coming, but that didn’t stop them from hooking up on and off for about a year following his “uncoupling” from Gwyneth Paltrow. Jen and Chris officially split in 2015, according to People, mostly because of schedule conflicts.
7. Madonna and Tupac

It wasn’t until 2015 that Madonna opened up about the relationship in an interview with Howard Stern. In 2018, the singer teased an unreleased track that the pair collaborated on, but she’s never released it.
8. Jared Leto and Cameron Diaz

The pair kept it low-key, to the point where the Telegraph called them one of “Hollywood’s most photogenic, but least photographed couples.” After their split in 2003, neither ever commented on the relationship again.
