Mariah Carey’s Twins Are Celebrating Their 12th Birthday!
It’s celebration time for Monroe and Moroccan as they begin their 12th year, and their famous mom wants to make sure they know they’ll “always be my babies.”
The superstar singer captioned her Instagram celebration post, “Happy birthday to my favorite people on the planet!!! I thank God for you every day! “Our love is Supernatural!!!” Ooh darlings ‘cause you’ll ALWAYS be my babies!!! ❤️❤️????❤️❤️”
The post received more than 95,000 likes tons of birthday wishes in the comment section in just a few short hours.
Carey’s longtime boyfriend Bryan Tanaka wrote, “Happy Birthday Roc & Roe! I love you both so much!” Randy Jackson dropped into the comments to say, “Happy birthday to Dem Kids!! Miss y’all ????❤️,” and Jermaine Dupri left a simple, “Happy Birthday!!!!”
Tons of other birthday wishes were left for the twins. “Happy birthday to demkids! Just yesterday they were 3 or 4 like how are they 12?!,” one follower wrote. Another added, “Butterflies spread their wings anew into the next phase of life. Happy birthday to dem kids!”
Carey shares the twins with her ex-husband Nick Cannon, who recently discussed parenting older children as the twins were approaching their 12th birthday.
During an episode of “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast, Cannon discussed his oldest children.
“It’s my first time having 12-year-olds, and I have a set of them,” he said. “And we’re having real conversations, because, you know, their lives are far from normal. Their mom is one of the biggest entertainers to ever live, and their dad is me.”

Carey often shares videos and photos of her mom life with her twins, vacationing, singing, and just acting silly and having fun.
In one recent video, she has some fun with one of her hit songs while riding in the backseat of a car with her son Moroccan. Captioned, “#itsawrap #Rocstarr,” the mother and son duo lip sync to her song, “It’s a Wrap” in a cute way. Watch out Hollywood! Moroccan may have a future in acting after that flawless performance.

The fun video generated tons of hilarious comments.
“Must be Nick on the phone,” one person wrote. Another added, “He said stop playin with my mama!!”
Monroe also had a chance to have some fun with her mom’s song, “It’s a Wrap.” As she’s lip syncing along to the song, Carey is in the background just waiting to jump in hilariously.

Actor and writer Kenya Barris took to the comments to ask, “Hold on… is that your baby????
Other followers also had some things to say about Carey’s mini-me singing her song. While many people thought that was Monroe actually singing the lyrics, one person pointed out that it’s actually Carey.
“Mind blown at how many people don’t know the song is sped up and IS STILL Mariah’s voice ? her daughter was just lip syncing ?,” she wrote. Another person added, “I love this ???? omg !!!! And the legacy continues!!!”
But fans of the singer know that Monroe CAN actually sing, and very well. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! Around Christmas time, Monroe joined her mom on stage during her popular Christmas performance for a duet.
