Cheryl Burke Is All About ‘Peace, Love And Ease’ As She Turns 39
Cheryl Burke’s gift to herself is enjoying mother nature as she turns a new age!
The star, best known for appearing on the hit show “Dancing with the Stars,” is ready to take things easy as she marks her 39th Birthday. After a rocky year, from getting divorced to almost losing her pet dog, she looks forward to a better year filled with contentment.
Cheryl Burke Celebrates 39th Birthday With Peace And Love
Taking to her Instagram page, the actress shared a picture of herself in a pink ensemble and her dog looking out at the ocean. In the second slide, the former pro dancer shared an emotional message for her followers, saying:
“It’s been interesting living 39 years. This is the first time I have decided to be alone and do me and do what makes me happy. And for sure, what doesn’t make me happy is stressing about prepping for a party and all of that.”
The celebrant pointed out that the ocean in the background feeds her soul, so she started her new age there with “peace and love in my heart and ease.” She disclosed that she gifted herself by spending quality time with mother nature because the past year was a lot for her.
The 39-year-old also emphatically clarified, “Yes, I’m alone, but I’m not lonely,” and expressed the importance of being in her presence and away from the world’s distractions for a little while. The television host concluded, saying:
“I owe it to myself. Love you guys. I’m so grateful for all of you for continuing to support me. Happy May.”
As she included more pictures of herself, her pet Ysabella and the beautiful view, her fans flooded the comments section with birthday wishes and messages of love and support.
Her fellow dancers like Peta Murgatroyd, Jenna Johnson, and Pasha Pashkov all wished her a happy birthday. Others complimented her post, like this fan who wrote, “Great video and lovely picture.”
Many praised her for her incredible talent and her positive attitude, like this admirer who noted, “You are the main reason I loved Dancing with the Stars so much ?????.” Another called her “one of the most iconic dancers ever,” adding, “Hope you have the greatest wonderful day. ?????.” While a fourth stated, “The world is great cause you’re in it.”
Burke’s mantra and a new outlook on life are on brand for her, seeing as she started this year talking about achieving self-love for the first time since going through her divorce and leaving the dance show.
She even shared a post to announce how well she was doing even though her ex-husband had moved on to a new relationship. In the picture, she beamed joyfully while posing on a scooter and addressed her feelings in the caption:
“If I could describe how I feel in one word, I honestly couldn’t. Each day presents its bliss but also its challenges.”
Through it all, the television star disclosed that she was excited to keep discovering her true essence and purpose, adding, “Today, I am proud to say that I am alone, not lonely,” and expressed her pride in herself for coming through her struggles unscathed.
Instead of jumping into a new relationship or resorting to heavy partying and drinking to numb the pain, Burke noted that she had chosen a different path. The model also revealed that she had been filling a gratitude journal before going to bed daily, which helped her stay more present and grateful.
‘I Can Do That’ Star Writes Touching Birthday Tribute For Her Furry Baby Ysabella
As a devoted dog mom, it is no surprise that Burke shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to her beloved pet dog Ysabella on Instagram. The Blast noted that the post featured photos of the TV star kneeling next to the celebrant wearing a pink and black walk harness.
The “Dance Moms” host wore a white shirt over lilac pants, sneakers, and a beige-colored band on her hair. The “Suite Life of Zack & Cody” guest star wrote a sweet note, expressing her gratitude for the pet pug’s presence in her life.
Her heartwarming note read, “My life is brighter with you in it—happy Birthday to this special soul. Thank you for filling my life with love, joy, and happiness. ??.”
