Taylor Swift Subtly Changed One Of Her Song Lyrics Last Night, And It Made Me Want To Give Her A Hug

As you probably know, Taylor Swift is on her record-shattering Eras Tour right now. And during the show, she performs two different surprise songs every night.

Anyway, last night in Nashville, Taylor obvi played “Fifteen,” the Fearless-era song she wrote about Abigail and her in high school.

But she switched one of the lyrics in the bridge. Normally, the song goes:

“Back then, I swore I was gonna marry him somedayBut I realized some bigger dreams of mineAnd Abigail gave everything she hadTo a boy who changed his mindAnd we both cried.”

HOWEVER…last night, Taylor added one line at the end. “And we both cried, but that’s alright!”

It’s super telling because we know Taylor recently went through a breakup, and Abigail recently went through a porce.

Abigail recently remarried. Love that for her.

That subtle lyrical addition just shows how they’ve been there for each other through their ups and downs, and I think that’s amazing.

Here’s how Abigail reacted:
