While we’ve seen the 42-year-old singer and actress dazzle on our screens, she keeps her family life private. As you may know, she shares three kids, Maxwell Drew, Ace Knute, and Birdie Mae, with her husband, Eric Johnson.
Recently, the mom of three celebrated her first daughter’s birthday, and from her update, the family of five is due for a reality show.
Jessica Simpson’s Rare Family Photo Has Everyone But One Laughing
The fashion designer took to Instagram to show how Maxwell’s birthday celebration went, giving fans a glimpse at the drama in her home. The snap she posted captured the happy family in all smiles except for one.
The family of five, dressed casually for the home party, snuggled together for the photo. They posed before a cake where a part was cut and lightly smeared on the table. While every other family member flashed lovely smiles for the camera, Birdie, the last child, was spotted with a crying face.
Jessica joked about the photo in the accompanying caption, writing, “Can’t win them all.” Of course, several fans wanted to know why Birdie was crying, and others noted that the picture was accurate.
One fan wrote, “The drama, the meltdown she’s having! Priceless ??.” Another fan commented, “It’s not a party until someone’s crying,” A third follower added, “She wanted her own birthday cake and party too.”
As part of Maxwell’s special day, proud mom Jessica made sure to shower love on her. The “Employee of The Month” actress shared an adorable picture of her and her first child in each other’s arms on Instagram.
Accompanying the photo, the “I Wanna Love You Forever” singer wrote a lengthy tribute, expressing her love for her daughter. She wrote, “On May 1, 2012, my firstborn, Maxwell Drew Johnson, arrived into this life as a sentient being seemingly not of this world. In the purest form, her mind, heart, and soul ascended from the grace of heaven to shine in profound ways. ”
Simpson further shared a moving gesture her little girl did as her birthday wish. “She told me after she blew out HER 11 candles…. “I made a wish that was for me and you and the whole family,” I said to Maxi, it should be your wish, and she said, “We have the same wishes, Mom.”
Explaining what the wish was, Simpson told fans, “Maxwell’s birthday wish was for her Papa Joe’s bone cancer treatment to work. It did.” Ending the emotional caption, Jessica praised her daughter, calling her the sweetest names.
Although Birdie wasn’t in the best of moods while Maxwell was celebrating her birthday, she had a blast on her birthday. Fans would recall that Birdie celebrated her birthday in March with a unicorn-themed party.
The doting mom took to Instagram to share the fun-filled time and expressed love for her daughter. In the caption of her post, the actress let the world know how adorable her daughter is.
She partly wrote, “This adorable wonder of unicorn kiddo illuminates every color in the rainbow… her favorite color… Birdie magically makes us laugh at all times capturing the attention of EVERYONE! She is uniquely and effortlessly herself.
The ‘Irresistible’ Singer Got The Heat From Fans For Wearing SKIMS
While the reality star deals with her family’s drama, she previously received the heat from fans online for wearing a SKIMS bikini.
The “Where You Are” singer shared a steamy photo of her wearing a neon green bikini that displayed her assets. The two-piece ensemble featured a tiny bikini top with a half-cup design that left little to the imagination and a small bikini bottom.
Spicing up the beach look, she added a matching sarong and pink platform heels to the ensemble. Simpson kept her face natural and let her blonde curls fall to her shoulders. Looking stunning and hot in the beach wear, the singer posed in front of a body-length mirror tall and flaunted her well-structured figure.
Within minutes, several fans commented on the sultry photo, but many were disappointed at the brand the actress chose to wear. A dismayed fan wrote, “Will never buy Jessica Simpson clothesline again. Why are you supporting her? Lol!”
Another individual explained why so many were against “The Dukes of Hazzard” star’s affiliation with Skims. The individual wrote, “Great swim suite [sic], love it. I wouldn’t wear Skims at all. That line belongs to the K Kardashian. After the BALENCIAGA child trafficking and ‘no comment from Kim K,’ WHAT A DISAPPOINMENT. AFTER THAT, YOU CANNOT BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS.”
