The multi-talented actress, who has been making waves in the fashion industry for decades, disclosed that her husband sometimes shares his opinion on her style. During an interview on “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” the 53-year-old spoke about her relationship with the Oscar-winning actor.

When asked about their preparations for a red carpet event, the “Anaconda” star confirmed that they consult each other for style advice. In a report by PEOPLE, the “This Is Me… Now” singer shared that Affleck may not attend her fittings, but she still values his input regarding red-carpet events.

She explained that before attending significant events, she seeks the opinion of the 50-year-old and asks questions like, “What do you think? Is this one or this one? Do you like this, or do you like this?” The superstar clarified that the “Dazed and Confused” actor does not prefer her style, stating that he likes whatever looks the nicest.

Lopez then noted that while her beau’s opinion on her choices could be a bit unexpected occasionally, she still finds it amusing when his feedback does not align with her initial thoughts. She further stated that his feedback could be humorous, with him occasionally jokingly asking, “Where’s the rest of the shirt?” when she wears skin-bearing ensembles.

Although Lopez gets advice from her handsome partner, Affleck also benefits from her vast knowledge of everything fashionable. Several months back, the film producer disclosed that she profoundly impacted his fashion sense while he was working on his movie “Air.”

The sports drama, which will mark his fifth directorial work, chronicles the development of the Air Jordan line, Nike’s legendary collaboration with Michael Jordan. The film will be produced under his and Matt Damon’s new production company, Artists Equity.

During a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, he praised his wife’s advice for filming, calling it “brilliant.” He explained that she is “incredibly knowledgeable about how fashion evolves through the culture as a confluence of music, sports, entertainment, and dance.”

According to the filmmaker, she helped him by “talking about how a part of the reason why Jordans [the shoes] were so meaningful is that culture and style in America are 90 percent driven by Black culture.”

The “Gone Girl” actor also noted that she helped him prepare for interviews related to his new project and her fashion insights. He divulged that the “Out of Sight” star advised him to be himself, relax, and have fun and pointed out that he sometimes came across as too serious.

During an interview with Hoda Kotb on the “Today” show, Lopez was asked about her kids, “They’re 15, and they are teenagers – they are giving it to me.” She elaborated, saying:

“They’re becoming adults. They are challenging everything in life, they are looking at everything, and these kids have so much information, so much more than we had.”

“So they are thinking and talking about things and life differently than I did when I was 15 or 16,” she added. Kotb then pointed out the sweet way the teenagers looked at Affleck, to which Lopez responded, “He’s a wonderful father and a father figure to them as well.”

The dancer gushed, “He’s fantastic, he really steps up to the challenge of what that is and what that means, and they love him, and they appreciate him, and so do I.”
