Is Kim Zolciak Trying To Get Back On TV?
Kim has filed not only for divorce from Kroy but immediately to drop his name and restore her old last name. The divorce comes on the heels of the Real Housewives of Atlanta premiere last night.
Let’s be clear Kim is the one ending the marriage. In the legal document obtained by TMZ, Zolciak cites the marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.” This is shocking, as Kim always talks about how hot her man is and how happy she is.
She declares the date of separation as April 30. She and the former NFL player have been married for 11 years. They share four kids, Kroy Jr., 11; Kash, 10; and twins Kaia and Kane, 9. Zolciak has two daughters from previous relationships, Brielle, 25, and Ariana, 21.
Kroy eventually adopted Kim’s daughters, and they changed their last names to Biermann. Kim previously shared how much she appreciates Kroy.

The Don’t Be Tardy star first met Kroy during a mock Dancing With The Stars charity event in Atlanta. He was participating at the time because he played for the Atlanta Hawks. Kim was obsessed!
She commented on Kroy’s ass and loved how he shook it. Kim was so confident after the event that she approached him and slipped him her number. Kim eventually landed herself a wedding special and parlayed that into a spinoff called Don’t Be Tardy.
The show was named after a song that former co-star Kandi Burruss wrote for Kim. She never expected to get married again, let alone have such a huge family.
“I thought I was done with my girls. I was on Real Housewives of Atlanta, and my girls were out of the baby stage. If I never got married again, I would be okay. And if I never had any more children, I was okay, too. I was in a great place, and then bam!”
Kim Zolciak Having Financial Issues
The reality star has been in the news lately for her struggles with money. In late 2022, she was wrapped up in rumors that her Alpharetta, Georgia, home was foreclosed. Kim’s daughter Ariana promptly denied the news, saying, “Don’t believe everything you hear.”
She said, “Everything is still there; we all live there,” to TMZ, who caught herself and her older sister Brielle leaving LAX.
Kim was busy sharing a video of her soon-to-be ex-husband cleaning the house, effectively killing two birds with one stone, Showing off how hot her husband is and proving that they were still in the family home.
Kim Narrated the short Instagram Story. “Get yourself a man that does it all, folks, okay? Mhm…yes sir,” she brags about Kroy.
Guess she went to find herself a man who could do both.
