Chris Brown and longtime friend Usher are seemingly on bad terms after they heatedly argued during Brown’s birthday. The two music icons allegedly got into a physical fight, and an eyewitness spotted Usher with a broken nose.

The fight reportedly resulted from Brown trying to confront Teyana Taylor, who was also at his birthday party, about his canceled 2022 AMAs tribute performance. Usher and Brown have been friends since 2005 and have featured each other on several hit tracks.

Both artists were scheduled for the Lovers and Friends festival, and Usher has confirmed he’ll still perform. Brown has been in a lot of legal trouble relating to assault since he pled guilty to assaulting Rihanna in 2009.

Chris Brown’s 34th Birthday Descends Into Chaos

On Friday, TMZ shared a video from Chris Brown’s 34th birthday celebration at the Skate Rock City roller rink in Las Vegas. The video showed the singer and dancer arguing with fellow artist Teyana Taylor during the party. “Climax” singer, Usher, intervened when Brown started yelling at Taylor and tried to calm him down, to no avail.

The news outlet shared that Brown was upset that Taylor was ignoring him completely when he was trying to get her attention. The “Forever” singer reportedly started cursing at Usher and Taylor before leaving the party and rink with his crew.

It was later revealed that Brown was trying to confront Taylor about his canceled AMAs performance from 2022. The performance was meant to be a tribute to Michael Jackson but got canceled at the last minute, according to Brown.

Usher Was Reportedly Seen With A Bleeding Nose

After Brown angrily left his party, Usher followed to find him and talk. An eyewitness shared with TMZ that they saw the “Superstar” singer track Brown and his crew behind some buses in the parking lot. A “short time later,” Usher emerged from the spot with a bleeding nose, seemingly from a fight with Brown.

Shortly before the disagreement with Brown and Usher, a video was posted online of the singer with other celebrities at the birthday party. Guests like Summer Walker, Mario, and Bow Wow sang the popular “Happy Birthday” song to Brown, who just turned 34.

As of now, it’s still unclear what may have caused Brown and Usher to get into a physical altercation at his birthday celebration.

Usher And Chris Brown Have Been Friends For Years

Since Brown’s debut in the music industry in 2005, he and Usher have been close friends. They have featured on each other’s songs and collaborated on hit tracks like “Party” and “New Flame.” The friends were scheduled to perform at the Lovers and Friends festival right after the other this weekend.

Insiders revealed to TMZ that Usher, who’s the headliner for the music festival, has confirmed that he’ll still perform, despite his altercation with Brown. However, it’s still unclear if Brown will proceed with his performance, as he’s been quiet since the fight.

Chris Brown Has Had Other Legal Issues Relating To Assault

Brown has been involved in multiple legal issues relating to violence since he pled guilty to felony assault for beating Rihanna in 2009. The violent incident with the “Where Have You Been” singer reportedly happened on the eve of the Grammy Awards that year. At the time, a court granted Rihanna a five-year restraining order against Brown.

According to Page Six, in 2017, Brown’s ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran sought and got a five-year restraining order against the dancer for his aggressive behavior. Brown had reportedly threatened Tran because she refused to retrieve his gifts and money after they broke up. They’d dated on and off from 2010 until sometime in 2015.

At the time, Tran gave evidence in court of some of Brown’s allegedly aggressive and threatening messages. One read, “I can get my money back and I’m tired of playing games,” and another read, “Btch, I will beat the sht out of you.” Brown also reportedly wrote “Imma kill blood” under a picture of Tran and actor Michael B. Jordan.
