In a recent interview with People magazine, Crawford shared how her daughter Kaia, 21, is managing her blossoming career and personal life just like she did as a supermodel in the ’80s.

Crawford revealed that Kaia has learned from her and her husband Rande Gerber’s approach to fame over the years, stating, “We don’t ever try to, ‘Oh, we can’t go there because we might get photographed.'”

Maintaining privacy has become even more critical for Kaia, especially since she was romantically linked with “Elvis” star Austin Butler.

The couple was first romantically linked in 2021, and most recently, they made a red carpet-appearance at the Time100 gala, where Butler was honored as one of the year’s most influential figures. “I’m learning along with her about that stuff, but I feel like she seems like she has a perfect head on her shoulders and is figuring out how she wants to create that private work-public balance,” she added.

In a candid interview with InStyle, Crawford opened up about her experience with aging, particularly concerning her hair. The legendary supermodel revealed that she hadn’t fully anticipated the impact aging would have on her hair. She even admitted that seeing her daughter, with her luscious and vibrant locks, often leaves her feeling a tinge of envy.

“I look at my daughter and notice that her hair is shiny and healthy looking — she has my old hair, and I want it back!” Crawford shared.

“Everyone tells you your skin will age, but no one tells you your hair will age too,” the supermodel told the outlet. “I think we all expect to get gray hair, but I wasn’t aware that the texture was going to change, it was going to become more brittle, it was going to shed more, and just be lackluster.”
