Taking to her Instagram page, the TV host credited her mother for teaching her the art of motherhood with a touching tribute. In the first slide, she shared a picture of the older woman wearing a white shirt and a brown bucket hat, cradling her swaddled grandson. 

The second slide featured Kloots and her son seated beside Maureen, who sported a striking red lipstick and cradled a small dog. In the caption, she penned a heartfelt message that read:

“I don’t think you fully understand how much your mom loves you until you become a mom. Thank you for loving me, Mommy, and for teaching me how to be a mother. ❤️.”

In a time of immense sorrow, the dancer shared the heartbreaking news of the passing of her mother-in-law, Lesley. With the pain of losing her late husband resurfacing with the loss, The Blast reported that the mother-of-one shared the heartbreaking news and a series of photos that paid tribute to the beloved matriarch.

In the caption, she wrote, “My heart is broken to [sic] today. Nick’s mother, my mother-in-law, Lesley Cordero, has passed away. Lesley and I got very close when Nick got sick. We were soldiers going to battle daily, fighting for the man we loved.”
