“XO, Kitty” Fans Are Having Their Minds Blown After Discovering That Sang Heon Lee And Gia Kim Are Siblings IRL
Everyone’s favourite matchmaker, Kitty Song Covey, is back — and this time she takes centre stage in her own spin-off series called XO, Kitty where she travels halfway around the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, Dae.

That scene with Kitty and a shirtless Min Ho was something else. ?
What we all didn’t know though is that Sang Heon and Gia are actually siblings in real life.

Yep, that’s right. They’re not just castmates, they’re a talented brother and sister duo.

Meanwhile, cut to Sang Heon who can’t stop laughing because his sister had the audacity to casually roast him during a press interview for XO, Kitty.

Typical sibling behaviour, tbh.
Despite being siblings, you’ve most likely noticed that Sang Heon and Gia have completely different accents when speaking English. That’s because they both studied abroad and learned English in different countries.

Gia studied at the Art of Acting Acting Studio in Los Angeles, where she most likely picked up her American accent. Meanwhile, Sang Heon studied at both an international school and later attended the University of Northampton in England, which is where he picked up his British accent.
In an Instagram post wishing Sang Heon a happy birthday, Gia opened up about the close bond that the siblings share, while also taking the chance to roast him a little.

“[I’m] so happy and lucky to have lil bro. And omg, [I] just still can’t get over how GOSH DARN TOOTIN’ CUTE YOU WERE AS A BABY. I MEAN LOOK AT THAT LITTLE HUMAN!”

“You’re all grown up now…ew…with girls fawning over you…which I’ll always find weird. But also, thank god you’re growing up bro. [I’m] excited to see the person you’ve become and are becoming. Lav you darlin’. Keep up your happy energy. xxx ㅅ ㅏ ㄹ ㅏㅇ 하ㄴ 당.”

And suddenly, I’m tearing up because this is such a sweet, thoughtful and on-point sibling birthday message.

Anyway, I hope we get the chance to see Sang Heon and Gia in more projects together because we stan a talented brother-sister duo. In the meantime, watch our interview with the cast of XO, Kitty (which features plenty of cute sibling moments).
