Martin Brundle was forced to apologise after a Red Bull employee let off an f-bomb during his Monaco grid walk.

Things rarely go smoothly on Brundle's infamous grid walks, and so it proved once again as the Sky Sports F1 legend mingled with celebrities in Monaco. The iconic broadcaster enjoyed chats with the likes of Orlando Bloom, Beverley Knight and Kylie Minogue, although it was his interaction with an unknown Red Bull employee that set Twitter alight.

Midway through his grid walk, Brundle attempted to chat with Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner. But in a congested grid, a team member from the constructor didn't appear to like what was going on.

As Brundle attempted to make his way towards Horner, the Red Bull employee could be heard saying: "I’m gonna get in so much f***ing s*** dude."

A figure, presumably with Brundle, then informed the man that the broadcast was live. Brundle quickly issued an apology for the swearing before carrying on his chat with Horner.

It didn't take long for F1 fans on Twitter to jump onto the interaction. One said: "Hahaha Red Bull mechanic supposed to be shielding Horner from Brundle says “I’m gonna get in f***ing s*** dude” at the Sky team as Brundle strolls past him."

Someone else wrote: "I'm gonna get in f***ing s*** dude.. WE’RE LIVE." As another commented: "And a Red Bull mechanic is going to get f***ing s*** for letting Brundle get near the car."

Others said: "Disgusting language to Martin Brundle by that Red Bull mechanic on the grid walk!" And: "Looking forward to watching the Monaco GP but poor Martin Brundle is having a bit of a nightmare walking the grid today!! Wonder if the potty-mouthed Red Bull worker will be as much in the “******* ****” as he predicted after that language."

Brundle continued his grid walk afterwards, with it proving somewhat less eventful than his last one in Miami earlier this month.
