Hey everyone! It’s me, Sepi, and I’m back with some more K-Pop groups answering some of your fan questions you tweeted us.

Chaerin (채린): I would switch with Haeyoon, she has such a beautiful voice!

Sepi: We agree, Haeyoon has a beautiful voice!

Jiwon (지원): I’d want to switch with May. I would love to have her height!

Lucia: I understand how it feels!

Remi (레미): I would switch with Yuju because she has such a pretty face!

Sepi: You are all pretty!

Remi (레미): I’d love to try on clothes in her style and walk around the street!

J.Seph (제이셉): We debuted in 2017, and we haven’t had a chance to come to Paris as the last gig got cancelled due to covid. We are finally here after longing for it for ages, and we’re so excited to be here.

Sepi: You got to come to London! We need your energy here!

Jiwoo (지우): We really hope so, we’d love to visit more of Europe.

*all exclaim AHHHH*.

Kino (키노): For me, my recent go-to is a mini bag, which I bought last month. I always need to bring a bag along with me wherever I go!

Shinwon (신원): He’s such a tourist! For me it’s 100% a guide book.

*everyone laughs*.

Wooseok (우석): He goes into tour guide mode, honestly.

Sepi: So, Shinwon leads and you guys follow?

Wooseok (우석): *laughs*. Yeah, pretty much!

CHERRY BULLET:

Haeyoon (해윤): I always need to have a portable charger with me because I take lots of pictures all the time.

Sepi: Me too, I have to!

Lucia: Yesterday under the Eiffel Tower we were running out of charge and we were like, “quick quick take a pic!”

Yuju (유주): I can’t live without music, so I need my headphones with me at all times.

Jiwon (지원): I don’t like my make-up bag to be too heavy, so I usually bring lots of small make-up samples instead.

Sepi: OMG that’s so smart! Why do we never do that?

BM (비엠): I think it would be an amazing opportunity to do some work with Pharrell! His music is very influential and bright, and I’d love to make an amazing track with him.

Sepi: I love Pharrell’s music so much! I have his all his books.

BM (비엠): Oh, for real?! *smiles*. Also shoutout to him being Louis Vuitton’s new Men’s Creative Director.

*all the members get so excited when hearing this question*.

Shinwon (신원): OF COURSE! OF COURSE! Come on! Come on let’s go!

Yeo One (여원): Sure, why not! Absolutely yes!

Wooseok (우석): We want to come back to London and ride the double decker buses.

Sepi: Come on, let’s go, I will give you a tour!

*members all laugh and nod their heads*.

Kino (키노): Because of the pandemic, it’s been quite a while since we’ve been to Europe – it’s wonderful to be back, we want to come more! I think we need a BuzzFeed UK and PENTAGON collaboration! Let’s make the show happen.

Sepi: Yeah, if the fans want it, let’s make it happen!

Chaerin (채린): Well, we just got off the stage, so the last song we listened to was ours… (proceeds to sing) love in space, space, space!

Haeyoon (해윤): We’re actually having a comeback very soon, so we listen to that music, and I hope that once it’s out, our fans will listen and love it too! (Note: at the time of the interview they hadn’t released this music yet.)

Sepi: Oh, we know you’re having a comeback – we can’t wait!

Jiwon (지원): So, this morning while we were getting ready, May and I were listening to New Jeans, “Ditto”. I really like it!

Sepi: Ah, we love it too!

*the room bursts into high energy with everyone singing it*.

BM (비엠): *says confidently and quickly* SEXY R&B! SUPER SEXY R&B! THIRST TRAP R&B!

Sepi: *laughing*. Basically half of all my playlists, and my playlists are ready for more of that genre. I am ready BM hit me up when it’s ready! In the meantime, check out their new song, “ICKY”.

*Wooseok straight away starts singing WWE intro*.

Wooseok (우석): JOHN! C-E-N-A! It has to be that classic intro. You know the one right? *we all start laughing*.

Kino (키노): Mine is definitely “Sexy Back” by Justin Timberlake!

Sepi: Pure taste, Kino. Pure taste.

Wooseok (우석): YOU CAN’T SEE ME! *shakes his hand in front of his face and imitates John Cena and Shinwon joins in*.

Yuto (유토): Mine is “Beat It” by Michael Jackson! A classic! *starts to imitate strumming the guitar*. I really love that song!

BM (비엠): Oh, easy: “Beware of Thirst Trap!”

J.Seph (제이셉): I don’t think I have one! I can’t think of one right now… I will have to get back to you on that.

BM (비엠): I am well known for putting thirst traps on my Instagram, so yeah… BuzzFeed, you need to get me on for Thirst Tweets!

Sepi: We shall see what we can do! Let me know and I would love to organise that.

Bora (보라): Our album is called P.O.W., which stands for “Play on the World”. We want to try and experience new things in the world and be true to ourselves.

Lucia: Oh, that’s so cute and exciting!

Jiwon (지원): We haven’t been very active in the past year, and we want to be much more active this year so that we can have more connections with our beloved Lullets. We want to have fan meetings too, so we can meet them in person!

Sepi: Well, you need to come to London again! We’ll be there at the front of the show.

BM (비엠): It’s interesting to have all members contribute to the lyrics. We’re trying to push that process with our albums going forward as much as we can, and we’ve been in the game for long enough to know what we like and what we don’t like. From this point on, contribution on the creative side from everyone is going to be a big factor.

Yuju (유주): We’ve done quite a few concepts so far, but something we haven’t tried yet would be something a concept around purity, sensations, and a delicate vibe.

Sepi: Oh wow! Hopefully, we’ll get to see that!

Remi (레미): I’d love to try something that would show each of our own characters.

Lucia: That would be nice! We’d be excited to see it.

Kino (키노): I prepared phrases for our tour in Paris! I used terms like “s’il vous plaît” and “parlez-vous anglais?” and “merci beaucoup.” Also, “ç’est rencontrer vous incroyable”, which means “it’s incredible to meet you!”

Sepi: All very handy terms to know. Kino, you are already a fluent French speaker!

Shinwon (신원): However, the most important term, Paris Saint-Germain.

*we all laugh*.

Sepi: Of course, are you going to see them tomorrow?

Shinwon (신원): YES! Of course, I’m so excited! I will definitely post about it.

BM (비엠): I think it’s a very rewarding feeling to communicate with the fans online. I’ve learned a lot from them too! The other day, I started learning different fan languages. I’ve forgotten what they are called.

Sepi: Like fan slang terms?

BM (비엠): Yeah, like slang, but K-Pop fandom slang. What I learned is “delulu”.

*all start laughing*.

BM (비엠): Do you guys know what “delulu” is?

Sepi & Lucia: Yeah!

BM (비엠): “Delulu” means… *explains it in Korean to the other members and says it means delusional*. So, shoutout to all my “delulu” fans! I am delulu for all my delulus.

Jiwoo (지우): Delulu? How do you spell it?

BM (비엠): D-e-lu-lu.

Sepi: It means delusional, but it’s used to signify fans who are obsessed with a particular person and like to imagine they will one day meet them or fall in love with them, basically.

*everyone starts to proceed to pronounce delulu*.

Kino (키노): Time to pass it to the actor!

Yeo One (여원): I’m watching Emily in Paris, and I’m up to season two right now. It’s been fun to watch, and has made me feel really excited to be in Paris.

Sepi: I haven’t actually watched it myself, but all I hear from everyone is that it’s pretty fun and an easy watch. I guess it was a perfect thing to watch to get you in the Paris mindset!

Yeo One (여원): Yes, I like it! I like it a lot! I really recommend it so far you should watch it too.

BM (비엠): Crime! I wanna be the bad guy – the sexy bad guy! What about you, Somin? I think you’ll be the one who dies first.

*everyone laughs*.

Somin (소민): I would probably be the police.

BM (비엠): So, she’s going to come looking for me? *points at himself*.

J.Seph (제이셉): In high school, I had this dance crew, where I did covers of 2PM’s songs, and I got second place and I was representing Wooyoung in 2PM!

Jiwoo (지우): Since I was five or six years old, I’ve been listening to Boa and TVXQ! Always been inspired by them.

Somin (소민): I listened to a lot of Rihanna and Beyoncé music before I became a trainee, but it was Lee Hyori’s music video that made me want to become a singer.

BM (비엠): For me, back in LA I was apart of dance community… gets a text Why is our manager who is standing right over there sending me a text?

BM (비엠): Sorry, my fault! Anyway, what was I saying? Back in the dance community in LA, Taeyang was a massive inspiration because he’s such a great dancer. He kind of put me on the map with K-Pop, but I’ve alway admire Jay Park too. I saw him on stage back in 2010 or 2011 and I thought, “I want to be like this guy.”
