Celine Dion, known for her powerful vocals and emotional performances, took to social media to share the news of her canceled tour with her dedicated fanbase. In a heartfelt Instagram post, the Grammy-winning singer shared a list of 42 scrapped European dates and expressed her deep sorrow about canceling the tour due to her health condition.
Dion, 55, who has been in the music industry for decades, expressed her immense disappointment at being unable to perform for her fans as planned.
“I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. I’m working hard to build back my strength, but touring can be difficult even when you’re 100%,” Dion wrote.

The “I’m Alive” singer added, “It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, we should cancel everything now until I’m ready to be back on stage again.”
The tour cancellation has undoubtedly disappointed ticket holders and fans who had made travel arrangements to attend the shows. However, the singer assured fans she is “not giving up” and “can’t wait to see” them again.
In her statement, she apologized to those who had purchased tickets, assuring them that refunds would be issued promptly via the original point of sale.

Celine Dion Was Diagnosed With SPS In December
The “Touched By An Angel” singer revealed in December 2022 that she had been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a rare neurological disorder, after several postponements of her tour.
Stiff Person Syndrome is a sporadic neurological disorder that affects the central nervous system. It is characterized by episodes of muscle stiffness and spasms that can be debilitating and often painful. These spasms can occur in various body parts, including the limbs and trunk, and can be triggered by emotional distress or sudden movements.

The news of Dion’s diagnosis came as a shock to her fans around the world as she took to Instagram to divulge in an emotional video.
“I’ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time, and it’s been tough for me to face these challenges and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through,” she said.
She continued, “Recently, I have been diagnosed with a sporadic neurological syndrome, which affects something like one in a million people.”
Dion noted that the condition had considerably impeded her mobility and made it challenging to sing how she was “used to.”

In other news, Dion recently sold her luxurious Las Vegas property in the Summit Club development for a staggering $30 million, per Dirt.com. The sale price is an astonishing three times more than the $9.2 million she initially paid for the property in 2017, solidifying her shrewd real estate investment prowess.
