Peta Murgatroyd Feels ‘More Uncomfortable’ Than First Pregnancy In New Update

Peta Murgatroyd is getting candid about some discomforts she is experiencing that did not unnerve her during her first pregnancy.

For a woman weeks away from finally giving her 6-year-old son Shai a sibling after a grueling years-long journey, we reckon the “Dancing With the Stars” Season 22 winner has seen her fair share of discomforts. However, she recently contacted her social media fans to explain how this pregnancy feels “more uncomfortable” than her first.

Peta Murgatroyd Says She Feels Uneasy Compared To Her Last Pregnancy

Regarding her pregnancy journey, the mother of one has been transparent and honest about every step. The most recent update came on Wednesday as she posted a few short videos to her Instagram Stories discussing how she feels weeks from delivering her child.

Murgatroyd enlightened her followers that she was “feeling good” but was experiencing a minor setback, such as “slowing down” and “being out of breath.” The pro dancer then alerted her fans to how different this pregnancy felt compared to Shai’s, saying:

“More uncomfortable than ever, I can’t remember being this uncomfortable with Shai. I don’t know if it’s because this baby is more front and Shai was just like all over. I have no idea, but I’m way more uncomfortable at this point.”

After that, the 36-year-old referred to how she noticed she was “swelling” but admitted that it was a lot like her first pregnancy as she gained “water weight” in the last two weeks of her previous pregnancy.

She also owned up to having swollen fingers that struggle to accommodate her rings and swelling ankles that allow her socks to “cut in and make marks around.” Further into the video, Murgatroyd said, “Tight things don’t really do it for me; loose things are my jam.”

In the next upload, the “Burn the Floor” star sounded gleeful, talking about work and balancing it with being a mom, but she soon added that she hadn’t gotten a nanny yet. In her words:

“I still haven’t found a nanny, guys. I want to rip my hair out because I need a full-time nanny.”

Part of why the TV personality is visibly stressed about not yet finding a nanny may have to do with her wanting to return to work after childbirth, as disclosed in another update. The “Faith, Hope & Love” actress stopped by her media page to explain her plans after delivering her baby boy.

She started by mentioning she intends to go back to “work ASAP” instead of how she stayed home during her first pregnancy. She said, “I think you know this time around, I’ll do it a little bit differently in the beginning. You know I’m definitely looking to go back to work ASAP.”

During the conversation, the New Zealand native also disclosed that due to not having her and Chmerkovskiy’s parents live nearby and her mother’s “green card” taking too long, she is hiring a “full-time” nanny.

Then, the “DWTS” contestant further described the type of help she was describing. She iterated that the “perfect amount of help” should be adequate to smooth things over after childbirth rather than too little, where she still struggles to get stuff done during the day when left alone.

The Australian Ballroom Dancer Aches At The Thought Of Her Children Outgrowing Their Dependent Years

In addition to the expecting mother trying to figure out her next move on adequately caring for her newborn, she self-reflects on her future with her toddler and soon-to-come infant, and sometimes it hits close to home for the star.

The Blast noted that the reality TV star took to her IG Story to share a video describing the level of void youngsters leave around the house when they mature from their dependent phase.

The clip, set to a chilly piano tune, takes viewers on an expedition through how the kids stop using the bathroom as often as they used to and how one can no longer see jumbled spaces, fridge handprints, or Lego toys lying on the floor in the house anymore.

Across the emotional post, the professional dancer conveyed dismay over the inevitable change coming her way. Her caption read: “This just made me weep… I’m always striving to have the cleanest house, nothing on the counters, toys perfectly placed on she, etc….but knowing this day will eventually come[,] my heart literally aches….I know I will miss the mess, the craziness…the utter mental/ physical exhaustion.”
