You Can't Stop The Horror In The Teaser For Stranger Things 4 Volume 2
If you've burned through the approximately 562 hours of story that is the first volume of Stranger Things 4, then chances are you're not-always-so-patiently awaiting Volume 2, dropping next month. As part of Geeked Week, Netflix is naturally stoking those flames and keeping us all running up that hill with a teaser for the next two episodes.
The latest season of the show, which split our heroes across different locations – the usual environs of Hawkins, Indiana but also California, Utah and Russia – sees another new nightmare threat troubling Eleven, Mike, Max, Dustin, Nancy, Joyce and the rest as villain Vecna, who is preying on the secrets of certain townsfolk. Eleven, meanwhile, confronts her past in order to get her powers back and Joyce is on her own mission, trying to help Hopper escape imprisonment in a Russian gulag.
For Volume 2, which promises yet more terror (here's our chat with creators the Duffer brothers about the enormous effects work required to bring the finale in particular to life) – there are just two episodes. But with episode eight running 85 minutes and nine a staggering 139 minutes, it's not like they're skimping.
Volume 2 is due on Netflix on 1 July, so less than a month to wait now… Meanwhile, read our review of Volume 1.
