This Morning’s Dr Ranj urges trolls to stop targeting ‘inappropriate’ Phillip Schofield
Former This Morning doctor Ranj Singh is urging internet trolls to stop targeting Phillip Schofield.
The television star and former Strictly contestant, 43, fears constant abuse will cause the troubled presenter, 61, severe mental health issues.
He told the Daily Star: "I never agree with trolling, ever. I don’t think trolling is acceptable.

"I think we have to be careful when we are responding to people that we don’t go too far.
"It’s not an easy place to be for Phillip. And we have to be mindful of that."

Phillip was sensationally axed from ITV last month after he confessed to having the "unwise but not illegal" affair and has kept an extremely low profile since the scandal broke.

Phil headed to the south coast to join his beloved mum Pat in celebrating her 87th birthday.
Despite looking forlorn, the broadcaster did appear to have a slight tan and a fresh haircut – a far cry from his appearance when the scandal broke last month.
After confessing to the fling, Phillip sat down for an interview with the BBC and made a series of bombshell revelations.
The ex-Dancing on Ice presenter told BBC’s Amol Rajan that he considered taking his own life and it was his two daughters, Ruby and Molly, who saved him.
