Always Planning A Wedding

The actress and her musician partner are planning on being too busy planning a wedding yearly to even think about getting a divorce. The Aussie native spoke about marrying the love of their life in Las Vegas a year after they began dating.

“We plan to do a ceremony every single year. Why would you do it once? In different locations with different amounts of people,” says G Flip to Nick Viall on “The Viall Files” podcast.

“You celebrate your birthday once a year, and when you’re married, you’re with this person every day, so why don’t you celebrate that once a year?” G Flip, whose real name is Georgia Claire Flipo, bragged about how unique the couple’s wedding was.

G Flip & Chrishell Stause Ceremony Was Untraditional

The influencer gushed about the lack of tradition in their ceremony and marriage. “Chrishell has already done the big traditional,” they explained. “I’m not big on traditional things. We just picked things from our closet and went through them on the day.”

G Flip continued. “It was honestly the most fun and beautiful day of my life. It was the most exciting and the best memory I have.” The most stressful thing about the day for them was writing and reciting their vows.

“[I was] freaking out about my vows, trying to get that right, because I wanted to say how I was feeling, so I had to tap into my songwriter’s brain and think of the words of how to describe what I’m feeling,” says G Flip.

The Ceremony Was ‘Us’

The moment was “nerve-wracking,” admits the artist, but they wouldn’t have it any other way. “It was just so beautiful. And it was just so fun, and it was just so us… It was cute,” they explained.

How can you not want to celebrate a love like this yearly with a fun ceremony that will bring so many people together? We have to admit all this love is still so overwhelming and shocking.

Fans are still getting over the surprise ceremony announced after the surprise Vegas chapel wedding. “Love doesn’t always go as planned…Sometimes it’s immeasurably better,” wrote Stause on IG with a video montage of the couple.

Basketball Player Doug Christie Knows What’s Up

A couple rarely plans to get married every year; it’s expensive depending on how you do it, and let’s be honest, divorce rates are through the roof, so… many people don’t even have enough love for one another to want to do that.

However, now G Flip and Stause can have this fact in common with former basketball player Doug Christie and his wife Jackie Christie, who have been trying the knot year after year for the last 26 years of marriage.

She admits it’s hard to stay connected because Doug went from a busy basketball to an active commentator. “A lot of the ladies give me my flowers all the time, and they say, ‘I want what you have. I want it like yours,'” she claims of her friends and Basketball Wives co-stars.

“And I told them even I—who has been married 26 times—I still question if he still finds me attractive. I ask him those questions, and he tells me, ‘You have nothing to worry about.”
