Mick Jagger has reportedly popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Melanie Hamrick – who is 42 years his junior.
The 79-year-old Rolling Stones singer and 36-year-old choreographer and former ballerina first struck up a relationship in 2014.
Mick, who is a dad of eight, and Mel then welcomed their son, Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger, two years later.

And now, it has been claimed that the couple have taken the next step in their relationship and are planning to tie the knot.
Engagement rumours started to swirl when Mel was seen wearing a ring on her engagement finger in November last year.

The source went on to say: “There are no plans for a wedding, but it means a lot to Melanie to be engaged – that is what she has been saying. All her friends are happy for her.”
Mick and Mel are believed to have met in February 2014 when Melanie's ballet group were touring at the same time the Rolling Stones were on tour in Tokyo, and Mick asked her to go for dinner.
Their relationship progressed to the point when he bought her a £5.6million townhouse in New York City.
In 2016, their son Deveraux Jagger was born, who is Mick's eighth kid.
Unsurprisingly, Mick Jagger has had a long dating history with several different girlfriends and long-term partners like Bianca Pérez-Mora Macias.
Bianca, more commonly known as Bianca Jagger, is his only ever marriage and they were together from 1970, first meeting before the birth of Mick's child with model and singer Marsha Hunt.
