Why Jimmy Fallon Is Spot-On Wishing Fans “A Happy 2nd Of July”

Jimmy Fallon took to his Instagram recently and wished fans “A Happy 2nd of July” and there’s a spot-on reason why.

Of course, fans were more excited about Fallon’s rare picture with his stunning wife and daughters than actual history, so here go all the deets.

While Fallon can famously pry out secrets from his celebrity guests on his show, “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon”, he’s a fairly secretive family guy himself. Married to film producer Nancy Juvonen, the couple shares two daughters, 8-year-old Frances Cole and almost-10-year-old Winnie Rose.

On Sunday, July 2nd, the 48-year-old talk show host shared a rare family pic, snapped at a dock with the golden glow of the sun hitting them just right. Fallon held Frances on his hip while a laughing Juvonen has her arms around Winnie.

Fallon captioned the pic, “I agreed to take this photo only if I could stand on the dry side of the dock. Happy 2nd of July!”

Fans were quick to comment in appreciation:

“Wow, your girls are growing like weeds! Enjoy the weekend!”

“I’ve been following and watching you forever, how TF did I not know that you were MARRIED ??? WITH TWO KIDS????”

“Beautiful family. Wife looks like one of the kids!!”

Others felt Nancy, his wife, was the reason why Fallon was never really into Nicole Kidman after she confessed that she had a crush on him!

“No wonder you didn’t have any thoughts of dating Nicole you have a beautiful wife and children!”

Meanwhile actor and podcast host Justin Long had a comment for Nancy!

“Nan!!! Winnipesaukee! I’m thinking about driving up there and yelling your name in the town square until you respond “What About Bob”-style”

Jimmy Fallon Is Quite The Honest If Doting Dad

While Fallon keeps most of his family life under wraps, preferring to let the celebs expunge all the skeletons in their closets, he did appear with his wife and daughters in a Christmas Frito-Lays campaign, although he wasn’t sure about it.

Said the comedian, “I go, ‘I don’t know, man.’ Not about them getting [in] the business, but I don’t know if they’re good actors. They’re not actor kids. I don’t know if they’re going to be good, this might waste everyone’s time.”

But it seems his wife felt the girls looked cute and if they were in, she was in and so Fallon did the Frito-Lays campaign! He later admitted, “It turned out to be great. They were good actors. My girls got a good laugh.”

Coming to another important point, Fallon wished his fans a Happy 2nd of July, which basically, could be called the actual Independence Day.

As per Constitution Center, “Officially, the Continental Congress declared its freedom from Great Britain on July 2, 1776, when it voted to approve a resolution submitted by delegate Richard Henry Lee of Virginia, declaring ‘That these United Colonies are, and of right ought to be, free and independent States, that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain is, and ought to be, totally dissolved.'”

John Adams believed July 2 would be marked as a great day in American history, only it took a while to draft the Declaration of Independence and it got printed on July 4. Choose your Independence Day but either way, Happy Freedom to all!
