Last week, SAG-AFTRA — which is the world’s largest performer and broadcasters union — announced that they will officially go on strike after negotiations broke down with studios. They join the Writers Guild Of America, who have been on strike since May.
Warner Bros.At the London premiere of Barbie, Margot showed her support for the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, saying that, “I very much am in support of all the unions and I’m a part of SAG, so I would absolutely stand by them.”

In it, Margot explains that she’s a union member belonging to Actors’ Equity, which is part of the MEAA (Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance).
