The actress was allegedly out in these streets partying too much for her husband Joe Manganiello to deal with. A source is alleging that it played a big role in the demise of their marriage. The couple announced on Monday that they were going their separate ways after being married for seven years.

The 46-year-old is supposedly over this 51-year-old wife hanging out, partying, and drinking with the girls entirely too much for his liking. Manganiello has been sober since his 20s when he battled an alcohol addiction.

The actor described it as fueling the ruin of his life. “I was drinking long before I moved to Los Angeles. When you’re young and you are successful at a young age, and you have negative habits, the success validates in your mind everything you’re doing across the board.”

Sofia Vergara Doesn’t Have An Addiction

The actress doesn’t have an addiction and while Manganiello has been sober since his 20s the presence of alcohol and watching his wife indulge and have a good time and drink was triggering.

According to sources who spoke to Radar Online, the True Blood alum has been crashing at his friend’s homes on their couches and wherever he can to avoid watching his wife indulge. The drinking had become a source of contention for the couple.

Vergara would host “cocktail nights” further making the actor feel uncomfortable. He “found it challenging to be surrounded by potential temptation.” According to The Sun, the couple has been struggling to make things work.

They allegedly had a “tricky past couple of years” that “saw them start to drift apart during the COVID pandemic,” like many couples, unfortunately.

Sofia Vergara Living Like A Single Lady

The actress is out here living her best life. She has supposedly “been living like a single woman for the last few months,” according to business associates who have been working with her on upcoming products.

As for Manganiello, an insider says, “Certainly in the past couple of years, she would be out alone as Joe just wanted to avoid issues. It was tough for him. Everyone was very understanding, but he encouraged Sofia to live her life and be happy.”

Sounds like he had an inkling that his marriage was coming to an end. The couple’s friends have been alleging that the duo harbors no hard feelings toward one another.

The Couple Lasted A While

Friends of the former couple and pals on America’s Got Talent commented the couple “had a good run” but called out Vergara’s apparent love for “cocktails” and how it played a role in their marriage’s downfall.

The source continued, “Sofia and Joe had a good run and managed to last longer than some within her friend circle suspected. One factor was absolutely their differing take on partying and enjoying a cocktail.”

Vergara’s love for cocktails should come as no surprise for her husband because this is supposedly how she has always been.

“Sofia really enjoys cocktails and drinks with girlfriends. It is one of the ways she lets her hair down. She has always been like that. She goes out to meet up with people at their homes and also hosts little soirees at her place. For Joe, that has become increasingly tough in recent years.”
