The news of Madonna’s health issues came as a shock to her millions of devoted fans, who had been eagerly awaiting the kickoff of her “Celebration” Tour. The tour was set to be a grand spectacle showcasing the singer’s illustrious career and featuring her most popular hits spanning four decades. However, the recent turn of events has put these plans in doubt.

According to TMZ, sources say the “Material Girl” singer is still “weak and very tired” since being discharged from the hospital after falling ill with a severe bacterial infection. The exact details of the infection have not been disclosed, but it was serious enough to warrant intensive medical attention.

Before her health scare, Madonna was reportedly rehearsing tirelessly for her tour but was found “unresponsive” and was rushed to the hospital, where she was intubated.

Following her recent health scare, Madonna is taking her “recovery seriously,” understanding that it is a work in progress. The singer, known for her resilience and determination, is focused on her health and well-being as she navigates the path to full recovery.

According to US Weekly, a source close to her revealed that she’s fully committed to regaining her strength and vitality after her hospitalization. She recognizes the severity of her health scare and the importance of giving her body the necessary time and care to heal.

“Although Madonna is looking forward to getting back to work as soon as possible, she’s also taking her recovery seriously and isn’t going to rush anything because she is focused on her health above all else,” the insider told the news outlet.

Amid her recovery, the renowned pop icon is reportedly hesitant about the decision to postpone her highly anticipated “Celebration” Tour, per TMZ. Madonna, known for her tenacity and dedication to her craft, is seemingly grappling with the difficult choice of prioritizing her health or fulfilling her commitments to her fans.

According to the news outlet, folks close to Madonna have revealed that she has been silent on the issue but hasn’t confirmed if she wants the tour postponed.

The tour was previously slated to commence on July 15th in Vancouver at the Rogers Arena. Still, it seems unlikely, as her manager, Guy Oseary, shared on his Instagram post last week that “we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.”

At the time, Oseary also stated that more details will be revealed in the coming weeks, “including a new start date for the tour and rescheduled shows.”

Madonna To Cut Down On Tour Schedule

In light of her recent health scare and ongoing recovery, Madonna will reportedly make the difficult decision to dramatically scale back her highly anticipated seven-month-long world tour, per the Daily Mail. Initially planned to encompass 45 cities across multiple continents, the tour will now be modified to accommodate Madonna’s health needs and ensure a more manageable schedule.

“In the cold light of day, considering what Madonna has just been through, and considering she is 64, was it really sensible to book so many tour dates in the first place?” a source shared.

“This schedule would be grueling for even the youngest and fittest of artists. More than 70 gigs across the world is extreme. Madonna and her team are going to have to consider cutting back on the schedule,” the insider added.

According to the news outlet, a tour manager noted that it would be a “logistical nightmare” to replan the tour in terms of looking for available venues.
