Corrie fans distracted as Eileen ‘looks so different’ after major dramatic weight loss
Coronation Street viewers were left with their jaws on the floor over how different soap icon Sue Cleaver looks.
The soap icon, 59, who has been a regular on the ITV show since 2000 playing Eileen Grimshaw, made a cameo in a scene on Friday’s episode (August 18).
And as soon as her face appeared on telly screens alongside George – viewers couldn’t believe how much weight she has lost.

“Every time I look at Eileen I think why does she look so different. I just clocked the weight-loss and new cut,” said one viewer on X.

During an appearance on This Morning, Sue revealed taking HRT (hormone replacement therapy) has also given her a boost of energy.
The 59-year-old revealed she started HRT at the beginning of 2022, and praised it as “the biggest change for me”.
She said she “feels like a different human being” and has “so much energy”.
