Jurgen Klopp blasts ‘stop singing that s***’ at Liverpool fans in dramatic outburst

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was left fuming with his own fans at Anfield during their 3-1 win over Bournemouth.

After a shocking start, which saw the Cherries go 1-0 up inside three minutes during the Reds home Premier League opener, Klopp and co eventually managed to fight their way back into the contest, taking a 2-1 lead into half-time.

After the break, they suffered at set-back when Alexis Mac Allister was sent off, but bounced back immediately thanks to Diogo Jota, who capitalised on a rebounded save from Neto to make it 3-1 to Liverpool.

However, there were some nervy moments in the final half an hour of the contest, which saw Bournemouth break on the counter at Liverpool multiple times. While they failed to find the back of the net in the second half, they had chances to punish the Reds which they didn't take.

At around the 75th minute mark, the Anfield crowd launched into a chant of "I'm so glad that Jurgen is a Red", keen to settle the nerves around the ground. But, Klopp did not appreciate the song in the slightest.

In fact, in a clip on social media, Klopp can be heard shouting at the Liverpool fans in question to stop singing. Klopp said: "Can you stop singing that s***! Can you stop it!"

“I don’t have an explanation for the start. You would like to think the disallowed goal was a wake-up call but it wasn’t it. We will find that it should not happen.

"From my position it was a clear penalty. Dom [Dominik Szoboszlai] gets the ball and gets hit and it was in the area. But I have not seen that back."

On Mac Allister's red card, he added: "Harsh. We have to speak about it. What you can see in the pictures is yes there is contact but that is it.

“It was straight, there was no real power in the foot. There was contact but there is contact in a game all the time. I think if he gives a yellow card nobody would say, 'by the way you need to have another look at that.'"
