Irina Shayk has given fans a glimpse into her recent vacation in Marrakech, Morocco.

The model, who shares a child, Lea, with ex Bradley Cooper, visited the “Red City” recently and took to Instagram to share many photos from her trip.

It comes after her stunning return to the Cannes Film Festival in May after hiatus since 2018. That same month, she shared in an interview why she wore several daring outfits during the event.

Irina Shayk Dazzles In Stunning Bikini

Taking to Instagram, Shayk shared a carousel of pictures she took during her Moroccan vacation. She visited one of the country’s most famous cities, Marrakech, also known as the “Red City” due to its distinctive red-colored buildings.

In one of the shots, Shayk put her toned body on display in a sexy two-piece black bikini with a triangle-cut top and v-shaped panties with thin strands tied to their ends.

Her hair was slicked back and clamped together, which alluded that the singer had gone swimming before the shot. Her flawless skin also looked stunning as she posed for the photo atop a red wall with one of her legs slightly raised.

A second picture featured the mother of one reclined on the ground as the camera captured her from above, and a third one caught her dressed in a blue bikini, complete with a fashionable straw hat.

During the trip, Shayk also took in Marrakech’s vibrant culture by visiting the city’s bustling markets (souks).

Among the shots she shared were pictures of the local food featuring fried bread, an assortment of olives and spices, and flavorful beans. The 37-year-old Burberry model also delighted her followers with images of beautifully crafted pottery showcased for sale.

One more snapshot showcased the model gracefully donning a long white cotton dress with a high slit, revealing her flawless legs.

She captioned the post with the location’s name, “Red City,” adding a heart emoji.

The post has since been liked by over half a million of Shayk’s 22 million Instagram followers, who mostly echoed “Welcome to Morocco” in the comment section.

Her Multiple Looks For The Cannes Film Festival

The post came on the heels of the runway veteran’s recent appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, which marked her return to the prestigious event 2018.

Her innovative fashion sense captivated the attendees as she showcased a series of groundbreaking outfits curated by various designers.

At the “Killers of the Flower Moon” premiere on May 20, Shayk made a striking entrance in a navy-blue Giorgio Armani Privé gown featuring a daring plunging neckline that descended to her stomach.

She continued to turn heads in two distinct ensembles from Self-Portrait. The first was a sheer rhinestone dress with capped sleeves, while the second was a red plaid minidress adorned with floral embellishments along the side.

Shayk further pushed the fashion boundaries by donning a bold red leather crisscross top with a low-rise skirt. She also confidently flaunted a sheer Gucci lingerie set with a see-through slip and matching gloves.

Irina Shayk’ Explains Her Fashion Choices For Cannes

In an interview with CNN the same month as the Cannes Film Festival, Shayk explained why she chose to don a series of unconventional outfits for the duration of the event.

She said, “I wanted to take a different, modern approach and think, ‘What does the young generation want? What would my six-year-old daughter want to wear when she is 18?'”

Shayk also mentioned that while initially set out to have “fun” with her fashion choices at Cannes, she also wanted to prove that she could still be hot even as a working mom.

She added, “I used to get nervous on the red carpet but not anymore. I feel more comfortable in my skin, and I wanted my wardrobe in Cannes to show that I can be a mom — I can be a working mom — and still show up, be stylish, and express myself.”
