Reverting to Bindi’s health—she shared her story about her endometriosis journey in May. In an Instagram post detailing the ordeal, the “Dancing With the Stars” season 21 winner explained:

“When I was 14, I started noticing my symptoms. I was getting extreme fatigue, nausea, and pain. Many people think with endometriosis, you only get symptoms during your period, that time of the month. I had pain every day of my life, and it started when I was 14 years old.”

She pointed out that the symptoms progressed so much that “Suddenly, no matter where [she and her mom] went or what we were doing, I would just be falling asleep wherever we were, and I also felt constantly like I had the flu.”

After excessive testing, the doting mom of one mentioned that she was diagnosed with IBS because eating anything made her sick. However, she began to think maybe she was struggling with endometriosis whenever her friend would share information about her symptoms.

This conflicting information made her and her family visit the U.S. for a permanent fix, and they indeed found one in “excision surgery.” During the surgery, doctors found 37 legions and a chocolate cyst on her ovary.
