
Simon Cowell moans ‘God no’ as family member reveals plans to audition for BGT
Simon Cowell has revealed his son will audition for the next series of Britain’s Got Talent.
The music mogul says that nine-year-old Eric is"serious" about fighting for a place in the talent series even though he’s hoped that he would follow him into showbiz "behind the camera".
Cowell expressed mixed emotions about his rock band loving son’s decision, but said he will allow him his opportunity.

The record executive and TV star believes that Eric is a natural at judging and has him by his side during live tapings of America’s Got Talent in Los Angeles.

"But he’s really serious about it. I always promised him, 'no, you stayed this side of the camera darling, stop'.
"But I don’t know what it is. Maybe because all of these kids are auditioning and now he wants to be up there with his friends."
Asked whether it will be tougher for him because of Simon’s reputation and standing, the music executive responded: "I don’t think so. Like myself, I have a very open mind because everything, like I said tonight is subjective.

"We all like different things and he’s got his own opinions on things.
"He’s got his own mind. And I’ve always encouraged that with him, which is, look, if you like something, I don’t like something that is life.
"So I think hopefully be sitting there in 10 or less years’ time."
