When it comes to dating, the rules change all the time.

New trends crop up, methods of hooking up changes and people are always altering what they want out of a relationship.

But, according to Tinder’s 2023 Future of Dating report, around 51% of global Tinder users between the age of 18 and 25 are making dating quite a low priority in their day-to-day lives.

Instead of pencilling in time for men, women are fitting in dates wherever they can during the day.

Whether it's meeting for a post-gym snack or a pre-work coffee, it seems people are just fitting dates in whenever they have time.

Paul Brunson, Tinder’s Global Relationship Insights Expert, dubbed the method "stack dating", and it's something that's taking over the romantic world.

As well as being convenient for some people, stack dating also puts less pressure on the whole experience.

You don't have to go all out on your outfit or worry about how to behave on a night out.

The dates are generally more easy-going, and just involve a casual meet-up to get to know each other.

This is one of the big pros of the method – it allows you to keep things real.

Meeting up with someone after a workout or during the work day is much more casual, and allows you both to be yourselves.

The only cons are, of course, some people like to have their lunch times or natural daily breaks to themselves.

Not to mention, having too many dates can overwhelm people, and make you feel like there's too much choice.

It all depends on if you think it will work for you, and how much time you want to dedicate to dating.

But – one thing is for sure – stacking is on the rise.
