Jon Hamm and Beck are this NYFW’s biggest surprise show!
The 52-year-old Mad Men alum and the 53-year-old rocker paired up for a secret performance at Mulberry over the weekend in New York City.
Following Beck’s Summer Odyssey tour stop at Madison Square Garden on Saturday (September 9), Beck went on to the small basement bar and took to the makeshift stage, where he announced: “Jon Hamm, will you help us play a song? Jon Hamm, are you here?”

Jon was indeed there, and joined Beck to sing The Cars 1978 hit, “Just What I Needed,” in front of superstars like The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas and their manager Ryan Gentles, The Black Keys’ Patrick Carney, the Moldy Peaches’ Adam Green and The Arctic Monkeys.
“He really added some Hamm-bience,” one guest was overheard saying, via Page Six, which obtained photos and videos from the night.
Sofia Coppola, Emma Roberts, Sarah Hyland, creative director Thomas Hayo, singer Charlotte Kemp Muhl, Celine’s Peter Utz, Alicia Solo, and Beck’s mom, Bibbe Hansen were all also in the crowd for the late night show that started after 1 in the morning.
Phoenix, who also part of the tour, were at the party, which featured a menu inspired by both artist’s songs, like a “Listztomania” and “Devils Haircut.”
Jon was there with his new wife Anna Osceola. He recently shared details about the wedding, and why he wanted to get married.
