Ripley’s Believe It or Not! has released a statement on the condition of the dress Kim Kardashian wore to the 2022 Met Gala, which was once worn by Marilyn Monroe.
If you don’t know, Kim faced a lot of backlash in recent days after many believed she permanently damages the dress when photos began circulating of some seams looking out of place.
Marilyn famously wore the dress back in 1962 for President John F. Kennedy’s birthday. Ripley’s paid $4.8 million at auction for the dress to have it part of its collection.
