Britney Spears Dad Jamie Spears Files Paper Accusing Daughter Of Slander
Britney Spears’s daddy and former presider over her life has filed documents accusing his estranged daughter of running a social media smear campaign on him. However, Britney just seems to be speaking her actual truth… finally.
Britney Spears Has Been Dropping ‘Truth’ Bombs on IG
The dancing queen normally uses her social media page to showcase her latest outfits and some dance techniques. However, since she was able to negotiate her freedom she has been letting some alleged truths regarding members of her family leak.
Now daddy Spears is using his powerful attorneys to ask the courts to depose his daughter over some pretty damning claims she made regarding her father.
According to TMZ, Jamie wants Britney specifically questioned about her claims of control, her claims of being forced to give eight files of blood, and her claims that she was forced to speak to a therapist and was once denied needed pain relief medication.
Britney & Jamie Spears Have Been Going Back And Forth
While the 69-year-old and his lawyers are busy trying to get Britney to sit for a deposition, Britney’s lawyer, Matthew Rosengart is accusing him of hypocrisy because he has been dodging them and refusing to sit for a deposition they filed back in May on Britney’s behalf.
“Despite his demonstrably false claims that he has ‘nothing to hide’ and would therefore ‘hide nothing,’ James P. Spears has been running and hiding from his deposition and accounting for his misconduct — under oath — as required by law,” said the doc acquired by Daily Mail.
It went on to state, “Mr. Spears has engaged in stonewalling and obstruction — for over six months — dodging his deposition and repeatedly failing to respond to simple requests for basic information.”
Britney Spears Is Slamming Other Family Members
The singer has really gotten her voice back since regaining her freedom. Not only is she willing to speak out against her father, but she is also blasting other family members for helping her father keep her under his thumb.
She compared her father to a sex trafficker and accused him of “loving” to have “control” over her. She hasn’t minced her word in regards to how she feels about baby sister Jamie Lynn Spears and her involvement with shutting Britney up and living off her money.
She even has a toxic relationship with her older brother Bryan Spears. Most recently she slammed her brother publicly for claiming that he didn’t go to her star-studded wedding because he had family obligations, but really he wasn’t invited. Britney’s mom Lynn Spears recently shared an eye-roll emoji regarding the singer’s last post and now Britney’s IG has disappeared.
According to Britney, he wasn’t invited to the event that surprised everyone earlier this month. At this point Britney’s attention-seeking ex-husband Jason Alexander got closer to that wedding the anyone in her immediate family.
Britney Spears Lawyer Isn’t Done With Jamie Spears yet
The “Baby One More Time” singer and her lawyer Rosengart are on the hunt! They want to prove that Jamie was involved in “a corrupted and conflicted conservatorship that stripped his daughter of certain fundamental liberties.” Jamie initially agreed to the deposition as long as it was held in his hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, which they agreed to yet, he hasn’t shown up.
He must have been biding his time to get his own paperwork filed. Rosengart also claimed that Jaime has continued to “harass and bully Britney Spears by, among other things, failing to cooperate with his discovery … and actually noticing his daughter’s deposition, even as he hides from answering essential deposition questions.”
Maybe this is another “bullying” tactic?
