Love is a beautiful thing, but sometimes, it takes wearing an engagement ring on your finger to realize it wasn’t meant to last. However, the ending of a relationship is a new beginning, often leading you closer to the right person or a new direction in life.

Here are 26 celebrity couples who got engaged but called it quits before the wedding:

1. Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis met at a Saturday Night Live wrap party in 2011, then started dating six months later.

2. Taraji P. Henson and Kelvin Hayden got together in 2016.

Ehrich claimed that he learned about their breakup “through a tabloid,” but People reported that “Demi made Max aware that the relationship was over and it was going to come out in the press.”

At the 19th Represents 2021 Virtual Summit in 2021, Lovato said, “In hindsight, the dissolvement of that relationship was actually probably the best thing that’s happened to me, because of what that led inside of myself.”
