Billie Eilish Is Focused On Changing Her Habits of Getting Sunlight While On Tour

Billie Eilish is making changes in her life by prioritizing sunlight, particularly while she is on the European part of her current tour.

She revealed so during an appearance on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” following her performance at the Glastonbury Festival and two sold-out shows over the weekend.

Billie Eilish Says She Sometimes Goes Days Without Seeing The Sun

Eilish decided to spend her day off from touring as a guest on Corden’s show which he and his fans greatly appreciated.

The host wanted to know if the music star enjoyed her off-days and if she got to do any sightseeing when she traveled with her family.

She replied, “You know, we’ve made it such a priority, actually, back before COVID when I was touring, doing crazy like amounts and press all day and this and that, um I would like not see sunlight for days and days.”

The singer-songwriter explained that it was “super easy” to live without the sun as she would sleep on the bus at night in a venue’s basement, drive all night long, and wake up in another basement, repeating the cycle for days.

She said it really got her, and even some months ago, she did not see sunlight for three days. However, she and her family are now doing things differently this time, choosing to have a “beautiful” and amazing” time in Europe.

Eilish shared, “We’ve made it like a huge deal to prioritize going out and seeing sunlight and like getting food and going to the park. We play Frisbee in the park like most days. So, it’s good, it’s good.”

The ‘Ocean Eyes’ Singer Had An Almost-Astroworld Encounter

Her conversation on the late-night show comes after she paused her show at London’s O2 Arena due to extreme heat conditions, according to The Blast.

The outlet revealed that the hot temperatures within the venue increased the chances of fans getting jammed and overwhelmed, almost similar to the past “Astroworld festival.”

But fortunately, Eilish spotted some worried fans in the crowd and broke off the concert. She also showed concern about their wellbeing, asking fans in front of the stage if they were okay.

The 20-year-old indie-pop star made them know she was aware of people fainting because of the heat and getting pulled out. She also told the crowd to give each other space and report any lightheaded-looking person.

Eilish continued the show shortly after, and that would not be the first time she paused her concert to look out for her fans. She once did so in Atlanta after noticing a fan having difficulty breathing.

Compared to Travis Scott’s disastrous “Astroworld Festival” last November, where ten people died and hundreds were victims of the subsequent chaos, the “Bad Guy” songstress appeared to have avoided such by attentively observing the crowd.

The “No Time to Die” Vocalist Has A Complicated Relationship With Her Body

Last week, Eilish candidly spoke about her body image, calling it an “ugly friend” during an interview with The Times.

The Blast detailed the interview, revealing that the “Everything I Wanted” soloist admitted she was nowhere good in her body-image journey.

She elaborated, “My relationship with my body has been a truly horrible, terrible thing since I was 11. I love that my body is mine and that it’s with me everywhere I go.”

Eilish added that she somehow saw her body as her “ugly friend,” which she regarded as complicated.

It is no news that earlier in her career, she was usually dressed in baggy, oversized outfits, which got lots of media attention.

However, she couldn’t escape the labeling that came with her fashion choices. She lamented, “Being known for the whole start of your career for one thing — she wears baggy clothes, and she sings like this — it was driving me mad.”

Unfortunately, when she tried to switch her public image and opted for a shocking feminine look on her June 2021 British Vogue cover, the backlash became even worse.

Recounting the harsh remarks made about the magazine cover, the seven-time Grammy winner said, “Then you wear something more revealing and they’re like, ‘You’re such a fat cow whore. I’m a slut and I’m a sell-out and I’m just like every other celebrity selling their bodies, and Woah! What the f**k do you want? It’s a crazy world for women and women in the public eye.”
