In a new interview with Us Weekly, the 25-year-old star said she gets inspiration from her dad Steve Harvey’s relationship with mom Marjorie.

“They’re definitely my couple goals. I literally was just talking to my mom on the phone earlier, and she was telling me what she got my dad for their anniversary tomorrow, and I’m like, ‘Wow, you guys are literally goals.’ This is what I want one day,” she told the outlet.
Steve and Marjorie began their relationship in 2005 and went on to tie the knot in 2007.
The SKN by LH founder added that her parents’ relationship has only gotten better over time due to the friendship they share outside of their marriage.
“They have the best love; they’re so supportive of me and, you know, just always here for me, whatever I need. So they’re great. I love them,” Lori said.
She also said that she thinks her parents should give her a dating “playbook manual” so that she can get some help finding The One.
“Their biggest thing, I think is making communication key. Being on the same page. Like maintaining a friendship,” she said.
“Still liking each other after so many years because of course, the love is always going to be there but being able to be like, ‘I really like this person, I like hanging out with them, I have a good time with them. I can laugh and just kick it and hang out.’ That’s really important,” she said.
Her comments come a few weeks after her public breakup with Michael B. Jordan. The pair started dating in 2020 and went public with their relationship in January 2021.
