Jamie Spears is continuing to face allegations concerning his activity over the last thirteen years.

Spears’ actions during the thirteen years he held a conservatorship over his superstar daughter Britney have largely been a topic of interest since the #FreeBritney movement gained major traction last year. With the help of the #FreeBritney movement, and perhaps the aid of the multiple documentaries courtesy of Netflix and The New York Times, the conservatorship was terminated last Fall.

The knowledge of Mr. Spears’ alleged actions had been widely known by the public, due to his daughter’s extremely-telling testimony last summer wherein she shared many details about what she faced during the conservatorship, as she has done numerous times since on social media.

What’s The Latest With Jamie Spears?

Earlier this week, Mr. Spears appeared in court to address previously made allegations concerning alleged surveillance having been used in his daughter’s bedroom.

According to People, the allegations had been discussed in the aforementioned documentary from The New York Times last year, “The New York Times Presents: Controlling Britney Spears.”

Mr. Spears said, “I am informed of the allegation by Britney’s council that a listening device or ‘bug’ was placed [in] her bedroom as surveillance during the conservatorship. This allegation is false.”

His statement appeared in “a sworn declaration submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court,” the outlet also reported.

Mr. Spears’ statement also included another quote where he states, “I never conducted or authorized any surveillance of Britney’s bedroom at any time, including during the conservatorship. I am not aware of such surveillance having occurred.”

Spears Believes His Daughter Is Deliberately Dragging His Name Through The Mud

Last month was a busy month for Mr. Spears.

According to a mid-June report from The Blast, Spears is wanting his daughter to answer in court over claims she had previously made concerning him.

Mr. Spears specifically wants his daughter to address claims she had made related to control, the amount of blood she was supposedly ordered to give, and forced therapy sessions where she had been allegedly denied medication for pain relief. The original report concerning Mr. Spears’ desires had been per TMZ.

Britney Spears’ lawyer Matthew Rosenguard argued against the validity of her father’s request after the elder Spears had filed a request to have Britney appear in court for a deposition.

Rosenguard stated in a document which had been obtained by the Daily Mail, “Despite his demonstrably false claims that he ‘has nothing to hide’ and therefore ‘hide nothing,’ James P. Spears has been running and hiding from his deposition and accounting for his misconduct-under oath- as required by law.”

Rosenguard had been referring to a previously filed deposition “filed back in May on Britney’s behalf.”
