“The plot holes were too much and took me out of the experience. I’m willing to accept the premise of monsters with amazing hearing, super strength, and speed, but the consequences and adaptations the characters are forced to make have to make sense!
It makes no sense how this family survived past the initial appearance of the monsters in the timeline. Doesn’t anyone grunt when they sleep? Or fart at all? Or cough? Or burp? Or yelp when they stub their toe? We had a child this past year so the birth scene was so ridiculous to us.”
