The CBS series Magnum P.I. has been saved!

NBC has ordered two more seasons of the action series starring Jay Hernandez, according to Deadline.

The show was canceled by CBS on May 12 and Universal Television, which co-produces the series with CBS Studios, began talks with potential new homes for the network.

Deadline reports that the deal “came down to the wire,” but it’s happening!

20 episodes are being ordered, which will be split into two seasons. There’s also an option to order more episodes.

The cast is now finalizing deals to return to the show. Starring alongside Hernandez are Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Tim Kang and Amy Hill.

Magnum P.I. follows Thomas Magnum (Hernandez), a private investigator and former Navy SEAL who solves crimes in the Hawaii after returning home from Afghanistan and repurposing his military skills.

CBS canceled five TV shows this season, renewed 16 more, and announced one is ending.
