Lindsay Lohan Secretly Married Bader Shammas Before Her 36th Birthday!
Actress Lindsay Lohan is officially a married woman!
While thanking fans for their birthday wishes, “The Parent Trap” actress took to Instagram on Friday night to post a photo of her and her “husband” Bader Shammas.
Many fans raised eyebrows at the word “husband” and questioned whether or not the two had recently gotten hitched. After all, pop star Britney Spears started calling Sam Asghari her husband months before the two officially tied the knot last month!
On Saturday morning, Page Six was able to confirm that the rumors are true: Lohan and Shammas are officially a married couple!
Lindsay Lohan & Bader Shammas Secretly Tied The Knot!
Although she deleted her initial Instagram post on Friday night, she posted another one on Saturday morning and then edited the caption.
“?❤️?I am the luckiest woman in the world,” her new caption reads. “You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time.”
“I am stunned that you are my husband,” she continued. “My life and my everything. ❤️every woman should feel like this everyday ??”
Many fans offered their love and congratulations to the couple, along with many birthday wishes.
Shortly after the “Mean Girls” star posted the new picture to Instagram, Page Six confirmed that the two married in a private ceremony only a few hours before she celebrated her 36th birthday.
A source told the outlet, “I can confirm Lindsay Lohan is married.” In the old post, close friends Paris Hilton and Melissa Gorga took to the comments to offer their congratulations.
Bader Shammas Popped The Question In November 2021
The child model met the Kuwait-born financier while she was living in Dubai. He proposed to the “Freaky Friday” actress back in November with a gigantic Harry Winston sparkler. The couple had been dating for around two years by the time he popped the question.
Shammas is the assistant Vice President of a global investments bank called Credit Suisse. Lohan has lived in Dubai since 2014, where Bader also reportedly lives. Lohan has been previously engaged once before, to Russian businessman Egor Tarabasov in 2016. However, the pair went their separate ways after Lohan claimed that he assaulted her on a beach.
Only three days after Thanksgiving, Lohan revealed that she had a lot to be thankful for when she posted a series of snaps of her wearing an enormous engagement ring on her Instagram page. She gushed, “My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love” next to the emoji of a ring in the caption of the post.
It seems that Lohan’s family approves of her relationship and her new man. Her dad, Michael Lohan, told Page Six that Shammas is “not a Hollywood type, you don’t see any pictures of them in the press.”
“That was one of Lindsay’s problems — the paps encroaching on her and coming up with stories. It was tough,” he recalled. “But she’s with a guy who doesn’t like the limelight.”
Her father is also excited to see her getting back into filming. Lindsay Lohan recently filmed a holiday movie for Netflix and seems ready to announce more acting projects. “She’s relaunching her career and you want a good person in your life when you hit that restart button,” her dad continued. “Everyone’s happy. Lindsay got her life back when she met him, she’s been living a really happy and healthy life.”
He also had a few comments about several of her ex-boyfriends. He said that he liked “That ’70s Show” star Wilmer Valderrama, although he was glad that she is now away from the “Aaron Carters of the world.” Lohan and Carter dated almost twenty years ago.
Michael Lohan also said that her ex-fiancé, Egor Tarabasov, “isn’t the best guy” and that he’s so glad that Lindsay is “so in love” with a “regular guy.”
“You can see how much they love each other in their eyes. I’ve never seen Lindsay so in love … All I care about is that he’s a regular guy,” he added. “I know that Lindsay wants kids. She’s amazing with kids.”
Fans are definitely ready to see Lindsay Lohan return to acting AND become a new mom! Many fans rushed to social media to congratulate the happy couple!
