Young Thug is in police custody after being arrested earlier this week. He is currently facing charges of gang activity and racketeering.
The artist, whose birth name is Jeffry Williams, is also buried under accusations from 2013, 2018, and 2022 for conspiracy and gang activity.
Amid the chaos surrounding the “Pick Up The Phone” rapper, his attorney Brian Steel vowed to exhaust every last drop of his blood to prove his innocence.
Young Thug In Jail Amid Multiple Charges
Following a massive showdown, Young Thug was arrested on Monday, May 9, and lodged in the Fulton County Jail, as confirmed by ET.
The “Beautiful Thugger Girls” rapper faces conspiracy charges for attempting to go against the stipulations of the racketeer-influenced and corrupt organizations act (RICO) in 2013.
Authorities are also charging Young Thug for allegedly taking part in criminal street gang activities, which they say took place in May 2018.
The publication notes that the accused is still in custody. Per WSBTV’s Michael Seiden, the “So Much Fun” rapper rented a car used in the killing of Donovan Thomas Jr., from a rival gang, in 2015.
Seiden said Young Thug’s indictment totals 56-counts. It charges 28 persons, including his brother UNfook and friend Gunna associated with his record label YSL or/Young Slime Life/Young Slatt Life/Young Stoner Life.
Gunna’s lawsuit is reportedly for a conspiracy count for trying to violate RICO. Yak Gotti and four other persons also face lawsuits for Thomas Jr.’s passing.
PeeWee Roscoe is among the indictment charges, which involve incidents between 2013 and 2022, including an incident where Roscoe allegedly fired at Lil Wayne’s bus.

The indictment accused YSL of having ties with the Bloods and being a “criminal street gang.” Amid the voracity of the charges, Young Thug’s attorney is a ray of hope.
The defense lawyer, Steel, boldly defended the innocence of his client. While speaking to an Atlanta TV station, he declared:
“I’ll tell you the response to any allegation: Mr. Williams committed no crime whatsoever, and we will fight to my last drop of blood to clear him.”
The “Punk” Rapper Shows Sympathy For Arrested YFN Lucci Despite Beef
Last year, Young Thug put aside his beef with YFN Lucci, who was arrested as a suspect in a shooting that took a man’s life in southwest Atlanta.
The Blast shared the “Relationship” rapper, who was beefing with Lucci for over four years, expressed his sympathy when he turned himself in after being wanted by authorities for two days.
The feud began over claims that Lucci slept with Jerrika Karlae, Young Thug’s girlfriend, leading him to deface the grave of one of Lucci’s close friends, who passed away in 2015.
Things changed when Lucci was arrested as the “Bubbly” rapper took to Instagram to say that he never wanted to see any man in jail.
On December 10, 28-year-old James Adams was found at 5:20 pm lying in the middle of Peeples street with a bullet wound to his head.

Lucci faced charges in relation to the shooting, including aggravated assault, felony murder, participation in criminal street gang activity, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to 11 Alive.
The star stayed in Fulton County Jail with no bond. His attorney, Drew Findling, expressed to TMZ that he is confident his client does not need to be punished for any of the charges above.
Adams turned out to be a member of Lucci’s crew. Before his shooting, he yelled in a clip, “We’re fitting to f*** this city up, man! Yeah, we’re f***ing this city up!”
Findling expressed that based on initial evidence made available to him and his team, Lucci, whose birth name is Rayshawn Bennett, is innocent.
The attorney stated that he and his team would continue their independent investigation on his client’s behalf.
Authorities noted that Lucci and his crew had been partying in gang territory on the southside of Atlanta. They boarded an SUV that “entered an oncoming lane of traffic and stopped on the left shoulder, allowing Adams and the front passenger of the vehicle privacy.
This position allegedly allowed Ra’von Voyd to fire multiple gunshots from assault rifle-style firearms at people in the rival gang territory.
Police noted that Adams was shot by return gunfire but was later “manually ejected from the vehicle a short distance away.”
